when u renew ur passport u wil get a new passport number, no? they gonna scan u work pass n passport at custom, so who knows what happen when there's a mismatch.

but the scanning system can only scan first page of passport and match it with your EP. First scan sure fail then the officer have to do it manually or ask you to go office. Waste your time time.

I renewed mine a last apr, they check my old passport when I first enter SG with the new passport and ask me to do online re-entry permit update before my next exit.

just a quick question, how well are engineers paid in SG?

i have a degree in mechanical engineering and straight away after i grad i did my master (MBA industrial management) in uk. heard from my friends that in SG they do emphasize on cert more than malaysia.

what sort of range should i be looking at for engineering job?well if i were to work in malaysia i suppose the salary would range from 2.5-3k.

any fresh grad engineer who used to be in my situation would like to share this?
