Not really, im using m1 mobile broadband and i can download torrents with reasonable speeds before 7pm and on weekends. But now i cant download shit, the torrents are completely blocked off.

I used this tool Glasnot to check if my isp is shaping and it seems m1 is doing it more proactively then before.

I cant even download and watch my IPTV anymore which unfortunately uses the torrent protocol to distribute its weekly shows.

I guess i just use my companys net connection. Ps: Corporate lines dont suffer residential lines traffic shaping rules.

My friend tried to swipe his Maybank Debit card b4 in Changi Airport and transaction reject. According to my fellow colleague, Maybank Debit Card does not allow foreign transaction. so the card is only meant to be use in Malaysia only. Not sure how true is it though.

Just to share with people over here, if you are planning to get a iPad, get is in Malaysia (JB City Square). Price for iPad is a lot cheaper in Malaysia compare to Singapore. 16GB wifi is selling $728 but they are selling RM1549 in Malaysia. Its even cheaper than buying in US.
