Actually not much difference in term of noise if you seat in the front. But rear passenger will feels the pain, especially when you do engine braking...

Does anyone who got their cat-con removed notice the exhaust fumes smelled like unburnt petrol when using ESSO fuel?

I just changed the header to 4-2-1, removing the cat-con at the same time.

Using higher viscocity oil can reduce that vibration. I knew this because I used 10w50 Mobil 1 once before changing to Castrol Edge 5w40.

The petrol fumes is very apparent after change to s-flow from straight flow.


The PESC at bkt pasir sold it for 180 + gift. I'm at s.alam right now so tomorrow maybe can go survey the price.

With the current heavy rain + strong wind, better don't take any chances.

My SC allows customer to bring their own engine oil.

Now I'm back using Shell. Less petrol smells.

Just replace the stock extractor and cat-con with 4-2-1 extractor.

Is there any bucket seats with leather materials similar to stock CPS Waja? Since it will look weird in Waja CPS because the rear seat is leather.

More engine upgrade options

Suddenly I realized there's a spot of petrol (a bit)+water where I park my car and its located at the front (engine part) . Its most probably drop/appear when I crank up the engine since when I brought my car to workshop, no traces of petrol+water can be detected after they jack up the car. Any idea?
Will be going to SC for inspection and maybe 80k km service also in the afternoon.

Correct. Got small leakage at the dummy plug but only occurs during cold weather.

Service cost for 80k km (major service including timing belt change, GB oil, radiator flush, brake service)=RM 1,025.00

I've seen it at Carrefour and Jusco before.

After changing timing belt and bearings, my engine become more responsive and quiet. But the cost still cause my pocket to bleed...

Either that or you accidentally hit something at that spot.

Solved already. I've just tighten the seal. Its not the dummy plug like I first thought but the hose at the AFR. Tomorrow will check again since it will only happen when its cold.
