It's better to go back your account branch because I did that. But I heard that amount lesser than 25k can do at any branch. For safety, you better check with your bank first.

just to check, if i lost the bank draft, can someone take it and withdraw money?

1) does the finder has the same name (or description) as stated in the bank draft?
2) if the draft are addressed to a company,...then it would be a bit riskier....
example, if addressed to RTD, then the finder may use it to pay RTD...I guess the finder can

If you are CIMB Preferred Banking holder, no RM2 is charged.

Nope. You will need to bank in the amount to Public Bank for them to issue you a bankdraft.

My advice to you is if you have an account at Maybank, bank in your money there and buy a bankdraft from Maybank.
