A Bigfoot thread? Nice. Please read and respond... would like to know your thoughts on my take.

After years of (again) scouring online, reading texts, watching countless TV documentaries, and of course, making own conclusions, this is what I can say as "my own" facts about Bigfoot (poor man's expedition... exploration while seated down):

1. Bigfoot can be found all over the world in different regions.
They are the same creature but localized to suit the environment they are in (e.g Yeti is said to white due to mountainous terrain, normal Bigfoot are brown/dark brown/black, there are also some that are skinnier, shorter, etc.).

2. Bigfoot species is *drum rolls*
Gigantopithecus blacki. An ancient ape. Why? After numerous hits of the same information I scoured with same evidence of what these creatures could do (including the posture which goes away from being on all fours, instead, the posture is said to be upright/bipedal). NO full skeletal of Gigantopithecus has ever been found. Only a skull. A big, giant skull. Mapping the skull structure to the ratio of the body it would be on, it is said to stand upto 3.0 metres ! Tallies with eyewitness description of monstrous height. Now that... is monstrous. Hey, who said everything that supposedly went extinct disappeared completely? Even Orang Pendek is a confirmed extinct species of bipedal (which locals claim to still see).



3. Why not Bigfoot carcass / dead body?
Now this is where it gets interesting. Forget about what an animal usually does for a minute. Now think of a human. When a human dies (hey, we are after all... *apes*), we bury the dead. I have theorized that Bigfoot bury the dead, on unmarked graves. Numerous Bigfoot expeditions have pointed out strange "X" like branches strung from trees - - I would seriously consider digging the ground under this "X" (all can Google search, it is all there... seriously

You are most likely to find an entire skeletal structure of Gigantopithecus in these ground area.

4. Since Bigfoot bury the dead, can they "speak"?
When we say speak, we mean communicating with words. Bigfoot communicate. With words (!) Don't worry, the words are still very much ape like but I did read somewhere (like a week ago) where a long 'conversation' between two Bigfoot arguing over food was recorded and analyzed by a professor. The sound was said to be a lot ape like (think deep voiced chimpanzee) but it had much, much more variation and subtlety. This is nothing short of magnificent.

5. OK, so where are they? So big yet keep hiding?
I said before to forget about what an animal usually does. Does not apply here. Animals protect themselves by hiding. They defend their territory and attack when provoked. Hey, Bigfoot does the same. As with all sightings, Bigfoot tend to "walk away" and some "run away so fast for its size". And then there are others - - Bigfoot is a bit of a rock thrower. It is said that Bigfoot would throw large rocks at you to keep you away from its territory. I'm just pulling the resource from Google as I have read it before from different sources:

But NEVER has a Bigfoot reported to physically attack a man ! Very interesting. And smart to not have ever done so. They have shaken caravans, thrown rocks and howled but never directly attacking a human.

6. Bigfoot have PO box?
They live in caves. This much I can tell. Caves with nice giant rocks that they push to close the entrance to a smaller cave dwelling. They are, cave dwellers. No one has ever seen a Bigfoot settlement, because I truly believe, they search the forest for food and go right back into their cave. Their caves are remote, hidden from sight and also closed with a big rock. A door. Made of rock.
Imagine stumbling into a cave dwelling with dozens of Bigfoot. Oh oh... you better run. Just the sight of monstrous 2.0-3.0 metre tall hairy beings rushing towards you. That is downright scary.

7. Have we seen Bigfoot?
Yes. The infamous Patterson footage is REAL. Now, believe me, for many years I truly believed the footage is absolute fake. I mean, come on, it is clear as day it is a man walking in an ape suit. I watched on TV a documentary that changed it all - - the one on Nat Geo (I think it is Mystery 360: Bigfoot Revealed). They asked Patterson's wife and took a direct copy of the footage (the original footage is stored in a bank vault since Patterson died). Frame-by-frame, they stabilized it. The end result - - a human couldn't possibly establish the physical ratio of the Bigfoot. They even went the next step and hired a tall actor to play the role of the Bigfoot, re-enact the sequence to see if a human could fit the ratio. He couldn't. You should watch it, please do so. I became a true believer of the Patterson footage. Forget about the man that claimed he walked the suit and all, right until the dying days of Patterson he still swore the footage was real. And by the way, it is said to be a female Bigfoot due to certain characteristics. Ape experts that believe the footage is real also claim it is a female bipedal ape.

8. So, after thousands of years, homo sapiens and Gigantopithecus lived together?
The answer is yes. Some ancient cultures fear them, others revere them, and then some call them the giants. One way or another, home sapiens did live with Gigantopithecus. Apparently as the human population grew, they were ousted. They became reclusive and hid well away from men.

That's it. That is all I know about Bigfoot - - an ancient living ape. Smart, powerful and very reclusive.

We are yet to find a body of a Bigfoot or a carcass.

Hey, didn't we discover Gorillas in 1930 ! (That's 80 years ago... during the days of Titanic, Gorillas were just a joke/fantasy story).

You got to be kidding me. No, seriously.

Trust me this is not a long summary. Shortest possible version. OK, so I have done some of the most covert Bigfoot hunting online, reading through quite possibly hundreds of Bigfoot hunts, trekking events and even countless video uploads that claim to have filmed Bigfoot.

I can assure you one thing - Bigfoot is bloody real and we might NEVER be able to see it revealed on film/news/TV.
I'll tell you why.

This is the most tl;dr / super short version of my findings from the past few months, and these are my own interpretation of my findings:

Bigfoot Hunting Mistakes
1. Camera quality

We live in an age where full HD videos are becoming a norm. It is time for every crypto animal hunter out there alive and breathing to have one that films in full hd AND uploaded in full HD, nothing less.

2. Use A Tripod

Hand-helds are crypto animal hunters worst nightmare. Shaky camera is an absolute nuisance. Not all sightings in an expedition are lucky to have Bigfoot in their sights to film it steadily. I am talking about ones that can be placed on tripods and aimed at it. This is tricky, very tricky. From what I have noticed, 9 out of 10 footages try their best to zoom in on the creature. Zooming in while looking for the creature means the worst case for a shaky footage.

3. Most vital - Time

I have no idea why anyone who seeks to find Bigfoot or other animals for that matter, spend a day or two looking for them. The odds of an encounter/sighting are already rare, what more with equipments and gears going to the so-called area that these creatures reside for only a day or two. What gives? Spend a month with supplies, camp out for weeks. I assure you something big will come of this. But no, a day or two it is. I am completely baffled. If it is a weekend trip to seek fame, forget it altogether. Plenty of Youtubers doing the same. Trip cameras that go off when an animal crosses it - again, only a day or two. Why not leave it for months in an alleged Bigfoot area, changing batteries every few days or so.

4. Keep The Group Small

I had seen numerous expeditions with a dozen or so crew going into the woods looking for Bigfoot. If these creatures exist (and I know do they) in the woods, they are probably the kings of the woods that know every nook and cranny of the woods. There is no way of telling what lies underneath a rock or inside a cavern, so bringing in a large crew means scaring off other animals and within range to hint to a Bigfoot to simply slip past completely unnoticed. It is no wonder why expeditions come across Bigfoot but it is a million miles away and barely noticeable.

5. Prioritize Hunts During The Day

Night vision cameras, thermal cams, these are great and high-tech, but absolutely nothing beats good old fashioned day-time camera recording. Even if there is a Bigfoot at night, the odds of filming it nicely are reduced significantly due to lack of lighting. Bigfoots are said to be nocturnal, but this does not mean going for a hunt that takes place entirely at night.


And finally,

Why Clear Bigfoot Footage/Image Will Never Be Revealed

I asked myself this question - what would I do if I happen to get the clearest and indisputable video/picture of a Bigfoot? My most honest answer - Money. How can I possibly capitalize my world's most valuable finding? Monetize it of course. Sell it to the big names and after that, these big names will keep it for themselves until they themselves find a much bigger buyer. I've read documents of alledged evidence surpression from Discovery Channel and even to my surprise History Channel, but nothing beats Discovery Channel. Normals individuals with stunning evidence that just want monetary gain by submitting their evidence to the big names. These amazing evidence will then be part of a "circus act" to promote new TV documentaries that only show a fraction of the footage. The rest is just BS. I can put all the links in the world but I am not going to. It matters not and it is up to you to believe. I've just grown tired of the way information can be placed with such value. Heck, I just admitted I would do the same.

Secondly, ridicule. Imagine flaunting the best video/image as being 'real'. Most likely your friends would say what a nut job you are believing in it. You won't believe how many folks are too shy/afraid to bring forth their evidence as I had read one too many who refuse to give their evidence to anyone. I found plenty of 'normal' folks refusing to give their evidence for fear of being targeted for ridicule. BFRO.net even has plenty of sighting reports of folks claiming to have photographed/video taped Bigfoot in clear day light but are not willing to step forward.

here is the very famous Jane Goodall, she spent 45 years of her life studying primates. She and D. Jeffrey Meldrum are veterans in primate study. They both share something in common - Bigfoot believers.

Not written by anyone but by a Dutch Newspaper (Deutsche Presse-agentur) and Times of India. Again, you have to wonder why only these newspapers has this and not the world over.

Lastly, we live in an age where information is at our finger tips. Nothing is unreachable. The fact that a completely unknown creature is alive and roaming around is unfathomable to majority of folks. I can assure you once again there are PLENTY of undiscovered, completely new species of animals. There are what I call "blind pockets" that are near impossible to get to on this planet that has never been set foot by a single human and this is truly where known and unknown species are roaming. This is supported by the fact that local natives are relunctant to talk about as they "worship" them (even Bigfoot is worshipped by Nepalese/Tibetans) and won't allow outsiders in these areas, making a near unreachable location even more impossible.
