i have a old asus mobo that's using intel 945GC chipset..the default FSB for this chipset is 1066Mhz and max.(oc) is 1333..so my Q is can i go above 1333?
thx
Can't you re-use your old thread back rather then opening new threads every single time if its related to the same thingthx
The answer is No, you may not. Limitations in the hardware level that prohibits you to go from 1066Mhz to 1333Mhz. But then you can , the results would be well , don't come and blame that you blew up your CPU or your motherboard or something funny happens. There is not enough ICs to help you to perform that function and even you push it to the max , most likely its not going to do be very successful
I'll be locking this thread

You should study bit on how CPU works , FSB and things like that before embarking your question on OCing
