fansoption: No I meant the flower series.

ahpingko: Good attempt! Try going even lower and bring it outdoors. Make sure everything is in focus (use F11) and then it should look very realistic.

ieR: Your D90? yawn.gif

You can't zoom in as much because the D90 only has 12 megapixels giving a lower magnification at 100%.

Nice diamond story though!

WF-530
Maximum height : 1425mm
Minimum height : 234mm
Folded height : 562mm
Weight : 1.2kg
Ballhead design makes positioning camera less hassle.
Almost 90 degree bending of tripod legs gives a perfect perspective for macro and landscape shots.

WF-591
Maximum height : 1455mm
Minimum height : 400mm
Folded height : 400mm
Weight : 1.4kg
Supported weight : 4.0kg
This portable proffesional tripod folds to a minimum length of 400mm only, ideal for travelling photographers who needs to bring his gears everywhere.
591 is better.

See the tripod can know already. It's 530 tripod. 591 is screw to enlong/shorten it.

Not the clip to lock one.

To shoot landscape F8 on an APS-C body is good enough to get clear sharp pictures. You may want to get a tripod. Use the lowest ISO setting and F8 should be able to get you what you need.

As for food, I don't know coz I seldom snap pics of food.

why not up til F20?..i got tripod..coz tis weekend going to beach..i want to get a nice landscape picture...i guess i will stick to my favourite ISO 400..

APS-C is AutoFocus in Continuous mode?

our kitlens sweet spot for sharpness is between F8-F16 if not mistaken...the lower the ISO the better for landscape...u'll capture more dramatic effect....

oh?..is it?..then i try use F14..haha...for bright sunlight i prefer ISO 200..haha..

If you set the aperture to too high a number, diffraction will set in and it will cause your pic to lose details. Pumping up the aperture will not give you increasingly sharp pictures. Any aperture above F11 tend to give very minimal improvement unless you're doing macro photography where the DOF is razor thin.

Use the lowest ISO possible so that your image will be as noise free as possible, especially in the shadow areas.

You're at a beach. The sun's plenty strong enough to get decent pix even at ISO 50. You do not need to use ISO 400.

Here are a couple of examples (old pics):

1. Taken using f4.5 ISO 100 with CPL filter
