QUOTE(Banzai_san @ May 17 2010, 08:04 PM) Thanks viking, naruto, william on advising me against DIGIeye tripod. Velbon has a good quality feedback but I'm not so understanding about the overall performance so I can't judge so much What about Velbon tripod for A550 + 70200F2.8 ? |

QUOTE(Banzai_san @ May 18 2010, 07:09 AM) Guys, anyone got tripod thats "kaput"/hangkang already? Would like to know what brand and why ... Go for WeiFang because it have a tougher built (If you go for budget :3) DIGIeye Professional tripods (professional ? really?) are very cheap ~RM200 only... I tempted but worries me if it is good enough to support DSLR + a 70200 lens. Also WeiFang Professional tripod and Octopus Professional ... these tripods cost in the range of RM200 only compared to others much much expensive. Would like to read others view on these tripods... Thanks However if u can have more budget, I suggest go for Velbon or Manfotto because it was much more durable and tougher to hold your camera + 70 200 lens ;3 This post has been edited by wingster: May 18 2010, 09:25 AM |

QUOTE(zstan @ May 18 2010, 07:16 PM) why u dun own a plato :/ ? but do however for the older version of wireless remote which is the Cleto II(forgot the proper name xD) u get battery free on wired shutter remote while for Plato u get easy battery replacement by changing 4 AAA battery, likewise it has very far far remote range than what I expected O.O |

QUOTE(cassplayer @ May 18 2010, 10:19 PM) If u not planning for wireless, u can get a wired Phottix Remote shutter at around RM20~30 If u plan for wireless, I suggest Phottix Plato which cost around RM100~110 |

QUOTE(ahpingko @ May 20 2010, 08:46 AM) i just get my DSLR for less than 1 month le.. Depends... not yet fully go out to snap snap snap...i saw the Sony website say the battery can tahan up to 900 shots wor..never try b4...haha...normally u all keep on Turn on/off 1 ah?..i mean when jalan jalan and shoot here and there?..hang on neck will keep on bounce on my stomach lol.. If u use OVF often it actually can last for 1000++ (I one times remember 1 day fire 1500 shots still remain 45% from 100% full battery charge) of shots If u use Live View may shorten it by 600~800++ of shots eventually A500/A550 has superior battery lasting compare to A3xx series ... QUOTE(gizmo_pony @ May 20 2010, 09:14 PM) Ok, got it. In term of IQ (put aside the larger aperture by Tamron) CZ is a winner ! No money no talk then Compare the two based on certain review and ieR ... Added on May 20, 2010, 9:19 pm You think sony will come out with this lens by the end of this year ? In terms of IQ and Sharpness: Both Are Similar, Sharp In terms of Color: 1680 CZ is better In terms of Focal Length: Of course 1680 CZ pawns In terms of built: Both are also similar but Tamron 1750 just slightly durable In F-Stop: Tamron 1750 takes the advantages |

Guys wanna ask for something about full-frame
As tomorrow got an event shooting at KLCC and my aunt supplied their Full-Frame camera for me to photo shooting the model. For full-frame, I did listen by the users, it has the serious changes on the DOF and F-Stop and I'm not so understand about it that ... does this means that Full Frame will suffer more shallow effect on the brighter F-Stop compare to crop frame and is that really serious? Because never fully experience on using Full Frame for photo shooting on event so need some guide when shooting portrait using Full Frame camera. Thanks :3 |

Today I had just use 5D Mark 2 for event shooting and yes the ISO performance is truly IMBA however I dislike to holding a big 24-70 zooms and even the giant 70-200 white shark when shooting fashion show
Felt like everything just heavy and not so comfortable on using FF system xD as well get many not-so good picture today So I still felt like stick back to a lighter crop frame camera(stick back Sony as well xP) even through the IQ wasn't so good as Full Frame This post has been edited by wingster: May 22 2010, 08:17 PM |
