After I break my 2nd tripod so today I finally have a new tripod

Mikeshashimi: Yeah man, this is why I went for the A100 - I wanted to use it with F1.4 lenses in darkness! That was the 135mm F1.8 at ISO3200 with EV 1- (effectively, ISO6400). You can do it too, just remember to bring your camera out at night!

cjlai: Do you have a bigger version of that? It's obviously a merged packshot as many of these lenses never appeared in the same packshot.

At the moment, my preference (in no particular order)
1- Tamron 70200F2.8
2- Sony SAL100F2.8 Macro

The 100F2.8 Macro has AF that is slow (from what I hear la). But is the slow AF during macro only or for non macro too?
How slow is the slow AF ?
Useable for stage performance ?
anyone?

8tvt : For me. I would go for the Tamron SP90 f2.8. It's slightly cheaper but it's amazingly sharp wide open. Calling for fansoption for SP90 poison!!! And for indoor shots, flash would give best results la. Because if without flash, there will surely be directional shadows. I hate shadows, but if you like it then stay without flash lo. XD
