QUOTE(wingster @ May 9 2010, 10:37 PM) Hey guys wanna ask about an event telephoto lens ... I was interested on 70-200 F2.8 lens for indoor events such as fashion show but doesn't meet the budget for Sony 70-200 SSM .... is there any good alternative? IMHO if indoor, you may not need the 200mm. I would expect the maximum reach around 135 to 150mm be good enough for indoor. Hence, Sigma 50-150mm f2.8 II EX DC HSM APO is also another option. QUOTE(wingster @ May 9 2010, 10:47 PM) yeah but I found I use often for 70mm,100mm, 135mm and 200mm for very close up shooting towards faces or brands like handbag, shoes and etc. for indoor events, I doubt you'll need to stand soo far (say 80 or 100 meters) from your subject. Hence the suggestion that you will probably need the max reach to be 150mm. hence 50-150mm would fit your requirement IMHO. |
