sigh i'm still waiting for my car... 2.0SX... Anyone know if the latest batches are still CBU, or has Naza already started assembly in M'sia?

Oops I meant CKD... since there's not CBU Forte... Anyway, the amazing thing is, I see more VW Scirocco on the road than Forte hehe... on avg while driving to/from/during work I'll see about 3-4 scirocco vs 2-3 forte per day... excluding the white SX parked outside Cita/Palm springs condo which i admire everyday hehe

Same story - stuck at customs. Then she promised to call me the next day... but nope, didnt call.

Truth is, I don't think there's much she can do, it's the HQ that farks things up, not SA at branches... quite common in the corporate world... paper pushers fool around, sales team takes the heat from customers. AS USUAL.

Anyway, I wonder what's REALLY holding things up? Naza no money to pay duties? Or customs refusing to release?

I hope our batch is still CBU...

Car booked week 1 April. I sure hope it isn't "stuck at customs" for too long - every day our leather seats and stuff are being BBQ'ed under the sun

Just curious, if u say "ready stock", how long be4 the car can be in my hands? What's the procedure assuming all payments already made?

Picked up my blackie today with another chap, also blackie. It's CKD, despite our SA saying "lucky, it's still CBU..." VIN starts with PN instead of KN.

This leads me to believe that the story about stock being delayed by customs is utter bull-crap, that the delay is due to them getting their assembly lines moving.

Or am I reading this wrong?

[EDIT] Do u guys from the 1st batch have VIN starting with P or N?

p.s. still happy with the forte (so far), just upset and suspicious of Naza...

Hey, anyone here got defects in their paint? Approx. 1 inch line whitish discoloration & 2 inch circular discoloration... damn obvious under the sun... Would the service centre help to rectify, do u think?

Or, would PPS/SierraGlow be able to cover this up???
