kinda expensive.. more than RM100 for thin sticker?

i just got inform from our bro shamsul_p that his windscreen cracked.
claimed from shamsul that he park his car under the hot sun for long period of time.
he suggest us not to park under direct sun for long period..
btw.. his car is 4 months old.

..parking under hot sun for long period of time can crack the windscreen...    this is cheapo windscreen or what? .. *dang

Is this normal? cos i never heard of this especially for a 4 months old car.

most of the time my car's in basement carpark. at home also got a bit of shade. but from what i read last time in sg forum, those who park indoor also will kena.

even my airbag 'on' 24/7 pun, boleh lepas QC... it's appear in meter panel... they should mislook...
lucky cable loose only, after tighten it back, it's ok now...

but still not understand why we need to insure WS?
crack is not our fault so should be under NAZA warranty?

under hot sun for long period equal to many hours? 8 hours normal la...
can if use staff loan...

mine also hit by stone yesterday night.
i dunno whether need to send to dr cermin or not. got a very tiny scratch on the WS but not deep or obvious.
scared will crack if not treated early.

what should i do? leave it or send it for fix?

i thought the sensor is the semisphere thing on top of our dashboard.. why is it related to the windscreen? just wonder.. 

yes, the sensor is that black round knob at the end of the dashboard top.........nothing to do with the windscreen.....

My latest mod, insulating the Air-con piping to make our car cooler & more energy efficient.



BEFORE .... the naked air-con pipe.



First, fix the air-con insulation using wiring tapes.



Lastly, tie with cable ties to secure it...done

    ..... damage only RM3 ....Most economic mod..hahaha

What I mean is previously u might set your air-con..let's say 22C and fan at 2bar.
After mod, at same cooling u might just need to set 23-24C and fan 1 bar.
Just an example...energy efficient & environment friendly..heehee

Yes! Indeed the sensor for auto headlight is the one located on the dashboard as what yhlee said. I've done a test when parked my car in the basement, switched to auto headlight function and it was on. When I turn on a torchlight and flash to that thingy, my headlight turn off. Therefore, I'm sure that is the sensor for our Forte headlight. 

NO. don't confuse others. the sensor is the black dome on top of the dashboard.

the only and 1 sensor for the headlight is on top of the dashboard ONLY... nothing already, there's no whatever sensor on the windscreen itself

the sensor for the headlight on the dashbord la..terang2 sudah ada depan mata..lagi itu orang mau tipu ka...dosnt make sense the sensor can put inside the windscreen...donno about rain sensor for the 308t..i dont think so inside windscreen..sapa-sapa bole explain..

very obvious the workshop want to con you money.
headlight sensor definitely is the black round knod on the dashboard, wrote in the user manual.
and also you can easily test it out, on auto during day time. use something to cover the knod that your headlight will on.

Bros where do you get the replacement windscreen done - i checked with SA - he said the price was around RM2k+ with insurance premium around RM375. Can anyone confirm?

bro..u lagi mau percaya dgn itu orang..dia sudah kantoi..lagi mau pusing..someone already explain about 308t rain sensor..it just attached to windscreen..not in windscreen itself..btw forte doest have rain sensor..howcome he talk about rain sensor on forte..bxxxsxxx punya orang..

Bro, I have lost trust with my SA as well as Naza Careline. For the past 2 weeks, I keep calling them to check on 2.0 status since they promised I can get my car by end of April. Last 2 weeks my SA said that Naza just paid the excise duty, and they will start allocation the following week. He said their CEO went and paid to Kastam himself. Last week I tried to call him but don't even dare to answer my call. Only on Friday his wife (which also Naza SA but different branch) answer my call and said that this Kastam issue still not resolved. She said that Naza promised to settle it by end of this month, earliest is 15th May (this Saturday). Let's wait and see what will happen.

At the same time, I called Naza Careline to double check and every time they keep giving different answer. At first they said the car already here, but having some problem with government. Then they said still no car, and ask me to wait for 2 - 3 months. Call another time said need to wait 3 - 4 months pulak. Asking them where am I in the waiting list, said will check and call me back, but never did.

If not because of Forte, I probably won't buy from Naza. What a disappointment.
