I so admire, and a little surprise, that you are still able to get the BK and rims separately from your car (when was it registered / collected?) I presume you are given the installation work orders, right？

This is the option I want. And I was specifically promised that I will get it. Yet when it was ready for delivery last week, and to the surprise of my SA too, all had already been installed onto my ex. I was soo disappointed.

My case was then brought to a regional manager. He emphasized that the BK and rims are now pre-installed (in Gurun) to all EX, and that the company had stopped the previous practice in providing installations post-delivery.... In my contention, this was their own internal problem in communication and/or coordination...

...After two days, I felt no choice but to collect the car as it is, with a compromised arrangement. The excitement and joy in getting my otherwise very nice Forte have been dampen by the let down, and the delay in other promises not yet fulfilled.

Whatever the internal (mis)communication, promise unfulfilled is unfair to the consumers, in particular to those who are 'informed' at the late stage of the deal (i.e. after d/payments made, or even after car registration already done). Some may see such practice against basic consumer rights, for which they continue to strive ...

A SC manager advise me to take some pictures, and email to him....

I consulted an aircon mechanic. He says no point to insulate it.
Instead, for better cooling effect, he suggests requesting SC to cut off / seal off the hot air pipe, since we do not need hot air in this country. However, the Chan Sow Lin SC does not think this is advisable.
