Need some advice here about polish or waxing.
Once i get the car, what is the best thing to do, polish or wax? and how frequent each of them need to be (of course less frequent is better as long as can keep the car shining)?

Used to drive proton and never bother about these.

A few negative (but small matters) findings:

1. There is a obvious sound, even all my passengers heard that. Whenever i drove through bumpy road/ uneven road, we heard "tik tak tik tak" sound from the boot (even passenger from back row heard it from their back, thus i'm sure it's from the boot). Anyone experienced this before? Mind to share what is loose already that i can fasten it? Anyway, this sound doesn't annoyed my i'm driving in city always and not rural roads.

2. When i turn off radio and put the aircond to slowest, i hear "tik.....................tik................" sound from bottom part of the car, not sure if any one hear this before? However this sound is easily covered when the radio is ON.

3. The headlamps do have wapor when i wash my car.

i don't think so...maybe i changed my air filter to k&n air filter.but my 1.6 forte fully bodykits and got oso 5 stabilizer bar that i got from Ultra Racing....maybe i drove with light foot...cruising 90-120 km/h...but with fully air conditions....thats why i can reach 692 km with 1 full tank that i manually calculated...

Sideway rolling of the car's body when attacking corners; eg when turning to the right your car's body will "roll" towards the left.

People, don't expect sports car like performance from the Forte. It is, after all, a sedan and not a sports coupe or a grand tourer. The Koup seems to have stiffer suspension settings for more confident cornering but as with most performance cars the ride becomes more harsh.

Oh yeah and this is nice... but bloody expensive.

Hello kawan2. Lepas naik turun bas dan pinjam civic akak aku sana sini akhirnya petang tadi aku dapat Forte 2.0 Metal Bronze. Huhuhhhhhhhhh! Happy tak terkira! Alhadulillah.

SMK, tambah aku dalam list eh.

Apapun baru beberapa jam drive F2, aku nyer masalah steering takde, bunyik seat pun takde. Mintak2 ok selamanya, tapi headlight ada wap aaa.. ape patut aku buat ek?

Lagi satu takde pon ipod kabel dalam keta. Nanti SA aku settlekan.

i've been aiming forte for months now. and suddenly the cruze is launched.
price-wise almost similar to forte, still <100k.

My fren SA offer him 5 years warranty, which is 2 basic + 3 EWP. I have called Kia Careline and they said no EWP for Forte yet. So wht is the EWP offered by this SA???? How abt others ? Anyone been offered EWP free by their SA ?

Hi guys.....i have been driving my forte (1.6 SX, Clear White) for a week now. I have no problems with my car except this strange squeak/loose mounting kinda sound coming from the rear....i thick it is from the left hand side. Sound can be heard occasionally during uneven roads, during accleration from standstill or while reversing down a slope,gradient.

To be descriptive, the sound is like  the sound you hear from an old bus using a leaf spring suspension setup when it gets really old(krik,krik.krik). Of course it aint that bad. Just wondering is it from the seat, or the suspension. I dont think a brand new car can emit sound from the suspension.

Any specific area that i should look into guys? This sound is ruining the cabin that is really silent. I memang pantang bunyi.

Wow, your FC really impress me. May i know how many days it took you to reach the 655km? less than 2 week?

My 1.6sx, right after 1K service, i pumped full, then only can go for 372KM before i pump full again for 46liter. which means 12l/100KM!! I don't think i'm a heavy footer, just donno what happen to my FC.
However my drive is 100% in city (with traffic jams) and short distance drive, so it took me 2 weeks to pump once.

and i wanna see u try the 3 seconds after exit toll while raining very heavily....while got cars both sides rushing out too....

Think before I write? Maybe you should be the one doing so.

Kindly explain how spending more time with one hand controlling the wheel while being distracted by closing the window is safer than holding it with both hands, which is the way you should be.

Using your example, the auto-up window function would be much safer as you should be keeping your attention on the nearby cars rushing out from tolls, not being distracted by winding up the window.
