Oops I meant CKD... since there's not CBU Forte... Anyway, the amazing thing is, I see more VW Scirocco on the road than Forte hehe... on avg while driving to/from/during work I'll see about 3-4 scirocco vs 2-3 forte per day... excluding the white SX parked outside Cita/Palm springs condo which i admire everyday hehe

Forte ass is too big and almost all the time I could see whether there’s anything small that could not be detected by the reverse sensor, if with this rearview camera, we could easily see whether there’s obstruction before we reverse the car in-case there’s a small kid standing behind or there’s rubbish bin or big pole, we do not need to play the guessing / estimation game anymore!

Not normal.... but sounds like it's your air con compressor working hard in hot Malaysian weather.
Steering wheel and gear stick should never have any rattles no matter what gear you're in, or whether your car is stationary or moving.

I'm trying to get used to the 308T, still don't like the gear box and its ratios. It's tuned for high revs to suit the 308T's nature but this means that it often hovers at high rpms even though the speed is not quick at all. The high rpms doesn't cause much noise and I actually love the whirling turbocharger, but FC suffers in this aspect. In auto mode most of the time it upshifts when the rpm is beyond 2.5K, more often at 2.8-3K. More power yes, but in busy city driving there's no room for so much torque.

The most surprising thing about the 308T is that it revs at 2.6K rpm at 100kmh... Comparatively Cera cruises at 2.2K and feels more relaxed, while the Pug is like a lion that hungers for high revs.

Yes, 308T FC is quite high (I only speak for my 308T). 100% *city driving almost reach 13L/100KM. The best I could get is around 12L/100KM. Long distance traveling on normal, smooth traffic (not on highway), the FC is around 8L/100KM.

The AL4 gearbox really doesn't do justice for 308T. Quite hard to predict its behaviour. I rarely use the tiptronic mode (although it's really fun to drop a gear and floor the accerelator  )

What you'd said is true. It's almost impossible to use the 4th gear if the speed is below 70KM/h. But it can be done if you're using the tiptronic. Try rev the car close to 3K and upshift the gear. But it's so bothersome, so I just leave it in D and let the car doing all the shifting 
And yes, at 100KM/h, the RPM is around 2.5/2.6K. But the noise is kept to minimal.

And for those who wants to know the top speed, it's around 215KM/h.

I have tested drive this car last Sat. The pick up is as good as Forte 2.0 and changing gear is smoother. But no chance to test until 6 speed, coz only drive in the shop surrounding area.

My father just ordered one. So, my car now got one more Kim Chi. ANyway, he change from one Kim Chi to another Kim Chi.

Bro, I have lost trust with my SA as well as Naza Careline. For the past 2 weeks, I keep calling them to check on 2.0 status since they promised I can get my car by end of April. Last 2 weeks my SA said that Naza just paid the excise duty, and they will start allocation the following week. He said their CEO went and paid to Kastam himself. Last week I tried to call him but don't even dare to answer my call. Only on Friday his wife (which also Naza SA but different branch) answer my call and said that this Kastam issue still not resolved. She said that Naza promised to settle it by end of this month, earliest is 15th May (this Saturday). Let's wait and see what will happen.

At the same time, I called Naza Careline to double check and every time they keep giving different answer. At first they said the car already here, but having some problem with government. Then they said still no car, and ask me to wait for 2 - 3 months. Call another time said need to wait 3 - 4 months pulak. Asking them where am I in the waiting list, said will check and call me back, but never did.

If not because of Forte, I probably won't buy from Naza. What a disappointment.

by the way, Jerantut is not so far from Temerloh. Still, KL peeps should consider this one. You still can register KL/Selangor plate number.
And break-in your engine all the way up from Jerantut to KL. Ask the boss fill up full tank for you.   

Agreed..it is worth the wait. Buying other car also need to wait. Last time when i was about to give up on Forte, i also seeking around for another options like Civic, Sylphy, Lancer only to find out that no ready stock for these cars also. Civic 2.0 have to wait around 2 months, Sylphy also got 1-2 month of waiting. Since all other cars also need to wait to get it, i decided to just stick with Forte. Forte got the best package after all.

p/s : my father bought the new facelifted Vios on early April, but till now (about 1 & a half month), still didn't get his car. So the moral of the story here is NEW CAR=HAVE TO WAIT (of course not applicable for all new cars lerr..) unless u opt for a low demand car i.e. Perdana, i30, avante

To those who have booked and still waiting for the cars,

We have experienced the same. We even book the car before it was launched, and some more that time Naza made it pre-launch booking can get car faster kind of impression, but eventually we have waited for 3-4 months only get the car, especially 2.0.

No doubt about the way that Naza is doing the business, but if you have faith on the Forte quality after reading so many comments from the forums, it is worth the wait.

Unless you think that T&H can give you a shorter waiting period with that kind of price, definitely you can go ahead.

We have been through the pain and the frustration and even booked the car without seeing, testing the real car.

Eventually, it does potong steam a bit, but the car is simply impressive and worth the wait.

Trust me.

yes.. wind noise is more noticeable when u run more than 100km/h.
but still acceptable, it's just reasonable wind noise.
my old car more noisy la even without visor.
