No money to pay installment, believe it or not?

Why your Forte need throttle cable adjustment? please share

Dear fortezens, especially those with 2.0.

I have been driving my 2.0 for few weeks now and have this concern regarding the gear ratio/performance of the car.

The car tends to upshift very fast, from 3rd to 4th gear. I've read it somewhere in the forum b4 but i still need to ask if it's normal?

It's frustrating coz whenever i m driving at around 80-90km/h in the highway and i need to over take on the fast lane, it will take a few seconds before reaching 110-120, seems like no torque on 4th gear.

I need to step hard on the accelerator for the car to down shift to 3rd gear. Is this normal? I know i can switch to manual mode and drop gear but it's too much of a hassle. Sometimes i thought it'll be better with an OD button

Any other bros/sis experienced this?

adjust throttle = increase rpm
kasi 'butterfly' bukak besaq sikit...
so more responsive...
1) not 100% but at least 90%
2) can't do anything... someone from FB install heat insulation...

toy toy.... the way u depress the gas pedal to kick down is crucial.. it must be fast.. one shot to depress.. maybe u still duno ur car.. say u know that depressing the as pedal by 1 inch it will kick down.. so u mus be fast and act as decisive in depressing the "1inch".. dun depress slowly or bit by bit... jus 1 shot hamtam je

FC Report for 2.0

first day after reset i managed to clock the best of only up to 7.4l/100km during travelling from KL-Putrajaya.
later yesterday and today the clock only hovering around 10l/100km which is quite not good i think.
i've tried to make my right foot lighter when pressing the pedal but still cannot get below 8l/100km.
guess 2.0 really makan minyak laa.. huhuh..

which headlamp? mind showing it to me...

may i know which SC can really fix the alignment issue(steer to left)??thanks

forte body roll is quite obvious, i was taking a corner at karak highway at 120km/h and feel like terbuang. takut!! is it normal??

Added on June 18, 2010, 12:47 pmmy tyre pressure was 30psi that time, and later i increase to 32psi then feel better, can this tyre be the culprit? as i saw the max pressure for the tyre is 44, so can it be 30 too low??

Apesal aku nyer, tak pakai seatbelt, takde sound atau icon blink2? yang aku perasan, time start engine, ade keluar icon seatbelt tu dua tiga saat je, then takde dah. I have the same problem ..
Even though I'm driving at 90km/h, un-fasten my seat belt, no warning light or beep sound - not the same feature as mentioned in manual. 
Is this normal ?

wanna to ask if any bro notice the same thing like I did?

when I drive back home from outside, after park my forte I notice after awhile there are some water droplets on the floor where my forte parked. is it normal or somekind of water leakage??

Tadi buat pertama kali aku bawak Forte gi Seri Kembangan dari Melaka. Masuk hiwaye je terus set cruise 100km/j. Ade la gak kejap2 tekan brake, purata myk antara 5.6l/100km hingga 6l/100km. Puas hati. Tau je la kan jalan kat SK tu macam mana, tapi purata tak berubah. Masa nak pegi isik minyak penuh. Balik semula ke Melaka tinggal separuh. Kira 150km x 2 = 300km. OK lah kan?

Esok2 aku gi kelas bila sem dah mula isik minyak tiga kali sehari je ulang alik Melaka-PJ. Pergh.. syok.. siap boleh bersila kaki masa bawak keta.

Cuma yang tak best steering asik ke kiri walaupun dah  buat alignment. Sekarang dah 1000km ++, Isnin nak servis. Harap2 FC makin bagus dan steering akan ok.
