Actually,

You can go and check at each site for each brand for their TSER/ IRR etc against the table. Its quite accurate as per each brands site.

However, if you want to be 100% sure ...u gotta buy the your own device to detect as every manufacture may have different devices (or calibration)to check the TSER/ IRR etc.

Based on my research, ECOTINT / Raybarrier is product of Sumitomo Japan. Therefore its a brand that IMHO, can be trusted in terms of what IRR/ TSER that they claim.

Not to say that V-KOOL and LLumar isn't trustable, but got a lot of fake V-KOOL out there and more importantly....they are damned expensive for their higher end tints.

Ecotint is expensive too, but still cheaper than V-KOOL and Llumar and their TSER if near correct for the raybarrier (as claimed).... its a good buy. Anyways..its my IMHO only, no need to buy if don't believe

Thats the best part, they can't even commit a date after missing end April and end May deadlines. I told my SA today, if they cant allocate me anything by next Friday (11 June 2010), I want back my full refund. AM very fed up with NAZA now. I rather get my refund back and book a car somewhere else with ready stock or when stock issue is resolved. Paling teruk pun, just don't buy a car for now. Good for you. But I thought TS is available already? NAZA really screwed up...there was another forumer who wanted 2.0 black here posted who change to white bcoz his SA say no MB got white. You want TS get MB. I want white, my SA try to push TS. WTF is Naza doing?

Booking of Forte 2.0 from TTDI branch in March 2010

I would like to officially ask the reason why NAZA has failed to allocate me a car to date. I was promised by your representive that a car would be allocated to me firstly by end April 2010 (which did not materialize) and again in end May 2010.

In fact, I was requested to settle my 10% down payment in April 2010 (loan was approved in March 2010) in anticipation of the allocation in April 2010. To date, I have been patient and called your NAZA careline and sales representaive at TTDI branch repeatedly to request for the status of my allocation but the standard reply is there is no stock to allocate.

If this is the case, why did NAZA accept and request for my 10% downpayment in April 2010 and keep on delaying the allocation of my car? To add injury to the matter, your Mr.Amran from the careline could not even give me a new date for the allocation and confirmed that NAZA has allocated and deliver 2.0 white color to their other dealers. Can NAZA please explain this?

Kindly please reply before I decide to call it quits and cancel the booking of the car and get back my full refund. There is no point talking to your Careline as everyone there is just as clueless as well.

Don't start another Dugong vs Forte war la.

B4 Forte came along, for the 70-80 plus range...the sensible and safe choice would be a Siti or Dugong. If want to blame anyone, blame our gahmen and UMW lo.

As for all Forte whether 2.0 and 1.6 all CKD d since 2nd batch onwards. What we don't really know is whether this CKD models are with improved quality or not. Maybe our bros here adin, redrum77 and bonjourz can share if their new car got any common related problems like the first few batches or not ? Or got any new defect.

As for me, still no news from Naza lipservice careline... no allocation to date yet. Naza CMD replied my e-mail and say they acknowledge receipt my email and will check.

Wow...I get the impression your 2.0 batch FC quite good. Some more its a new car and not full break in period yet.

Heard some good news today (not sure true or not). Another batch coming in end of this week and got a lot of 2.0 white colour this time. Some spy told me there are making space for the new batch to arrive.

If others here are being requested to settle their full DP, then maybe its true d. Cross our fingers and hope to get our cars fast this time.

But the seatbelt chime, I don't think got chime sound. Just blinking for awhile then go off d unlike dugong which will bug u. Correct me if I'm wrong, I noticed this during my last test drive.

As for the standard UV tint, I read on facebook b4 posted by KIA Malaysia. standard TSER already like 40% plus. If fix good tinting the TSER will be damned good d. Can anyone here confirm this.

Actually, in many ways the car dint come in April...got help also...now budget got few extra k (save on budgeted installments) to spend on poison like "ECOTINT, Body kit & Autofoam d"

Bro, you done your tinting yet? I'm all out for ecotint raybarrier all round.... for security tint maybe next round.... if normal tint they dont need remove door panel.

Heard from SA today. Btw, my 2 cents is...since wait from March until now for White .... might as well wait (another few weeks) until we get white No point get another color which we have to see everyday for next 5- 7 years. My only concern is the interest rate hike as I understand LOU with bank can renew 3x/ months only.

Yeah, I know the front and back is actually UV cut glass that is a bit darker. Darker means got cut our some IRR as well right? Cut out IRR means will have some TSER d I think. Anyways...this was posted on KIA facebook (don't know true or not?)

Another thing to note is...its close to RM100,000 (with insurance) for a 1.8. Moreover, based on the singapore review, I think that they mentioned that Cruze has a smaller boot and higher FC compared to Forte 2.0.

What surprise me most is.... why 1.8 with 6 gears FC can lose to a 2.0 with 4 gears? Conclusion.... back to Forte 2.0 . Cheaper by ard 6 k somemore....

I reached a point where I don't want to ask branch or Careline anymore. Branch and SA keep saying very soon, stock came in d... allocation next week (said the same last week) ... Careline says at least another 2 months...... have given up d.... wanted to cancel... but SA say by the time they refund in 1 month...she so sure the car will get by that time..... so confused.....
