Yes, it happen to me too, I presume that is normal, during the night, the compressor do not release that much of cool air to keep the cabin remain in 25C, so we will feel not that cool. Just reduce the temp further will help.

Is it because the blower only blow your feet that's why you don't feel as cold as afternoon? normally if the difference between the outside temperature and the one you set is below 5 degree then the blower will set to blow your foot only...

really? i dont think so, because i not set the Auto mode, i use manual mode...

anyone notice that the aircon pipe in the engine bay, every time you off the engine, try open the hood, you can see the aircon pipe condensata a lot of water....the pipe is naked without any insulation, is that pipe need to be insulated for better cooling??

taken from other forum....

The insulation mentioned do not assist in the overall coolness of your aircond. The High Pressure pipe normally is Hot and the Low Pressure pipe is Cool and condense with water droplet when the aircond system is activated. This pipings can bee seen from your engine compartment.

Any extra insulation put especially the Low Pressure - Cool pipe is not adviceable. Water condensed
from the piping might create corrosion from inside the insulator later. This may causes pipe leakage.

anyone expert can clarify this?

Just to add to my own post, in case that other Forte owner didn't realize this useful function of the buttons...

- Press #3 will repeat the current song only, but if pressing #3 & hold it for a while until the repeat folder symbol appeared, all songs in the folder will be repeated instead,

- We can turn on the audio system by pressing the 'MODE' button on the steering wheel, & we also can turn it off by pressing the 'MODE' button & hold it until the audio system turn off  thumbup.gif

I consulted an aircon mechanic. He says no point to insulate it.
Instead, for better cooling effect, he suggests requesting SC to cut off / seal off the hot air pipe, since we do not need hot air in this country. However, the Chan Sow Lin SC does not think this is advisable.
*
yes...i got the same answer from my aircon specialist fren....if we insulate the pipe, it will cause the fluid inside frezze, the fluid inside the pipe can become ice and can damage to the compressor...!! So please dont insulate this pipe, seriously...

bro this is odd lah ... so far only 2 of us got that sound wor.... i've asked around most of them dont hv such sound!
*
i dont have this sound, but i heard this sound b4 on my persona, it is like the highly hot metal (exhaust??), when you off engine, the heat slowly dissipated, then the metal get cooled and shrink (expanded when hot).....when the metal shrink, it pull the joining part to the chasiss, so this sound can be heard...it is normal....
