I drove on highway using RON95 as i mentioned earlier,
yesterday(sunday) i tried RON97 travelled AOR-TPG-IPH-TPG-AOR average fuel consumption is 7.1L/100km. maintain speed at 110km/h, sometimes 120 when overtake, and 80-90 at Sg2 - Juru expressway. But the problem is, when on the way go and back from Ipoh, car carried 4 adults, 1 kid. really like powerless la... mayb bcoz of the stock minyak from factory kut (b4 1k km service). I juz serviced my car at 950km, hvn't tested on highway yet, muz w8.. cost is RM338 including gear oil....damn expensive la!!! but i really hope, this time, car will hv more power, better fc than b4, smoother and more quiet ride.....well, my family was very very impress with this car, wider and bigger, but not longer than nissan grand livina, with an excellent FC(with stock factory minyak). AOR SC is very good, the ppl there very kind, any problem ask them, they replied back very friendly matter. Service, consider very fast(compare with my old toyota SC). i really recommend the SC here....very good service. well, i asked abt my headlamps problem(local technician), they told me technicians fr. korea said is our weather problem, and they will work on it, make sure my headlamp can coup with the heat weather here(33-38C). hope this will improve their QC too. Added on May 31, 2010, 3:51 pm QUOTE(phil_ @ May 31 2010, 02:10 PM) Yupe, that is true. I purposely paid attention to that when driving the altis 1.6, and saved the info in my handphone, as i knew i would be getting my forte soon and would like to compare this. congrats!!! i hope u will surely love ur forte than ur altis...Hehe, my car plate number is finally registered. Will be getting my car tomorrow btw, i tot altis oni got 1.8 or 2.0??? haiya, altis oni got 110bhp(if not mistaken), where forte got 124bhp...(like IAFM and CPS), yet, i dunno much bt altis engine, but i m assure u, forte engine is very quiet and very good FC. kia technician told me there's 1 customer, his forte 1.6sx can go AOR - johor in less than RM80 petrol...not sure correct or nt, bt that's wat he told me. urs forte bright silver??? haha, we're twins then....xD This post has been edited by XionCity: May 31 2010, 03:51 PM |

QUOTE(allic @ May 31 2010, 06:26 PM) XionCity : Why need to change gear oil @ 1st Service? coz is advice from SC...they said change better....aiyo...damn expensive..or else without gear oil, only RM198» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Added on May 31, 2010, 11:26 pm QUOTE(yhlee12 @ May 31 2010, 06:39 PM) 338? y so expensive? most ppl paid around 227 - 240 for the 1st service. i don't knw abt dat....juz some rumors from a SCT....yeah as mentioned by allic, y gear oil? from AOR to johor... northern part of johor? i did a trip from gelang patah (johor boundary, 2nd link highway to singapore) - singapore city drive a bit - PJ - ipoh, for a full tank of about 80... to AOR is a bit too much la however, i did request them ask the HQ abt the extended warranty, dunno can or nt, if nt, after warranty, plan 2 put in theta 2 engine in..... Added on May 31, 2010, 11:27 pm QUOTE(izputra @ May 31 2010, 08:39 PM) Me : that's like around the same as my 1.6SX FC leh....100% city around 10L/100km (light footed-accelerate gradually) 100% highway around 7L/100km (average speed +-110km/h) This post has been edited by XionCity: May 31 2010, 11:37 PM |

QUOTE(phelix @ May 31 2010, 10:42 PM) you purposely ask the SC to change gear oil for you or they "advise, suggest" whatever it is to ask u change? they din ask me.....they juz advice or suggested me 2 change only...coz last time when b4 i booked forte (when i booked saga se)if u change by ur willing, then ok la.. if not please call kia-careline to f*cK upside down. should be RM227+- only. they also mentioned the same thing....advise that 1st 1k service change engine oil ....to prevent gear from malfunctioning b4 next service.... 2 person asked the same thing, that's y i go change....but u all nv told me dun nid change.....hehe...jkjk....i din ask u all..my mistake hopefully naza come out with it's official HID for sale This post has been edited by XionCity: May 31 2010, 11:36 PM |

QUOTE(miet @ Jun 1 2010, 02:42 AM) mine 1st service only change engine oil fully syn costs me $25*.00.... nope, mine here, use caltex 4L 1 tub....In receipt stated that 5 units used... Means they used 5 units of small bottles of engine oil which costs $50 over per bottle. I'm curious why they need 5 bottles instead of 4 even thou mine is 2.0sx. QUOTE(Adin @ Jun 3 2010, 09:28 PM) Did you put some protection on your head lamp, I asked the tint shop to stick the so called "invisible shield" on my headlamp, damage rm280...after did my tinting there. invisible shield?? what's that?? never heard before....my HL not damaged..acually, is the weather causes it, coz the SCT(Service Centre Technicians) told me KT(Korean Technicians) told them, is not HL problem, is weather problem....in Alor Setar, the super heat temperature can go up to 38C, today up till 37C......since now is back to Korea, they will do heat and cold test with QC and QA..... |
