newbie here, need some advice on this. does anyone every compare tag heuer and victorinox watch?
in quality wise esspecially.

quality as in how long they can last? if thats the case they are equal.
Tag u are paying for brand esp with a quartz.
victorinox is more value for $$$.
with mechanical, Tag did put work into it unlike victorinox.
does it mean its better not necessary.
Roger dubuis watches have inhouse movement and cost over US$10K easy.. even some of their high end $100K watches suffer from quality issue.

nice looking complication...like the white dial and blue hands..

hold both in your hands, personally i find Tag head and shoulders above Victorinox in terms of fit and finish. hold a Tag and a Maurice Lacroix or a Ball Hydrocarbon.. then its a different story.

well tsg_7 didn't ask about Fit and Finish just quality. more expensive watches generally have better finish on the case and at times in the movement.
Fit usually not leaps and bounds apart, Finish I have to agree. getting a watch for daily use, a well finish case/bracelet also get scratches all over after sometime.

anyway, U looking for a ladies quartz watch? they are all quartz.
Tag WAH1210.BA0859 retails ~US$1.5k same as the Longines.
cost concern get the Longines.

ladies auto try Frederique Constant, Mido, Baume & Mercier (maybe).

generally pay more U get better quality. pay peanuts don't expect superior fit and finish.
Tag and Victorinox price pretty wide apart. entry level TAg starts at around US$600 for a quartz and above US$1K for a mechanical, Victorinox a mechanical starts at ~US$300.

chick dig tag as they are all about brand and marketing!
my spouse would reject a PP and go for Rolex!
sporty auto watch hard to find.

if its casual watch can look for nomos club, Stowa KS all Omega quality (fit and finish) at a lower price. better yet nomos is inhouse movement!

ah yes wanted to state that the rieussec doesnt use a minerva movt but saw u corrected ur post already. the MBs with minervas cost even more

those on minerva I guess even more limited!
