Water Resistance don't have to be too high, 100m will do, and chrono function is optional. will wear during office hour only, with long sleeves. Kind of like a necessity in work

in my opinion, never get the quartz for omega. it was around >6k if i wasn't mistaken hence you could get better watches within that price range. add 3k and you get the auto seamaster.

Really? Then i should downgrade my expectations. I liked it because it is available in mid size. Before this i was looking at the Aquaracer auto. Any other recommendations for mid-sized dive watches?

Cyma offer good value and I think u can find them at city chain right?

I would recommend Stowa Antea. finishing is better than many entry level brands. some even compare it to Omega but U got to wait for3mths+

Yes, the CYMA i saw was somewhere in Suntec city where they are having sales.

Usually you guys purchase watches online or through a retailer? I don't mind online so long that it is authentic.

Since no AD for Stowa in Singapore, any puchase has to be done directly with Stowa via online purchase. While Stowa has online shop, for strange reasons Singaporean/Malaysian customers cannot order from the online shop that is dedicated for non EU customers. Browse Stowa online store www.stowa.com to get info on their watches
Open up a personal fedex account. It is not so difficult. Contact Fedex Singapore at 1(800) 743-2626, tell them your intention to open personal account. Fedex will fax you the form. Fill it in, fax the form and the copy of your NRIC and Credit Card back to Fedex. It will take 2-3 days for the processing at Fedex. Fedex will call you and inform you your Fedex account number. It's free of charge.
If you know which model you would like to purchase, please email Stowa at hafner@stowa.de . Viveca Hafner is Stowa's customer service lady, who is very attentive and helpful
Inform Mrs. Hafner the watch model, and tell her you are from Singapore/Malaysia and would like to purchase their watches without 19% German VAT. Please provide her your Fedex account number

stowa and Christopher ward only can be bought online. some ppl waited for a Stowa LE for like 1yr+ and they are still waiting. As Jorg is a jeweler at heart. he makes his watches like making a piece of jewelery. today I usually get them online.
