true, but at the end of the day the swiss watch federation is changing the law. they can choose to comply or not.
sure it will bring cost up, its us that will be paying.
swatch makers are complaining thats why it will take sometime to roll it out.

I doubt there is a shortage of skilled labor. The bad Econ all the world, alot of layoff is going on.
in fact for a foreigner to get into this trade isn't easy too. if there is genuinely a shortage labor laws would change.

the cost of labor in China is going up too. there had been news that USA would be seeing the effect on daily goods. prices is going up by X%. Some companies have already decided its cheaper to bring these home! Things are constantly changing. we cannot influence, just sit back and enjoy the ride!

~3000 RM and using Miyota 0S10 movement... quite alot to pay for brand and a huge watch at 48mm.
I have to admit the design is unique.
FYI that movement only cost ~RM$80.

Anyone can recommend me any automatic watch below RM2k with 28800 bph? Prefer watch that can be brought at store. Still couldn't convinced myself to get a watch from online shop because couldn't take a real look on it. Thanks.

Any automatic diving watches to recommend at about RM500? I know at this price my choices are limited to Japs but I don't mind. Saw the popular Seiko SKX007 but at 42mm it's bit too big for my 6.3" wrists. I'd prefer 38mm thereabouts, 40mm can too. Thanks.

i m considering between Archimede normal Pilot and the chronograph..but the chrono is like double the price

Is it worth paying double for it? Its using the Valjoux 7750 movement which is supposedly better than the Elabore/Std grade of the 2824-2 movement? Think someone mentioned that Archimede is using standard..

One is normal automatic, the other is chrono movement. Of course the price is different.
7750 is a most common chrono movement, been around for years and reliable.
