Hello everyone!!!!

Hope everyone is good!!!

It's so good to see so many people interested in catching
FS's. Wow!! I'm amazed.

I would like to say hello to everyone. =)

Haha, Ura, ur 10 adopted children, that was funny!

I'm looking forward to this Sat's hunt!!

So far to me, two of the most interesting spiders that I won't
forget (as long as I'm sane!) are
- Aso, and
- Pincer

Aso, for his diabolical tenacity and Pincer, for his never-say-die
attitude!!! Pincer really touches my heart. I've never seen him,
but that one fight with Bullet on youtube showed me what a class of
a spider he is. An ace of a fighting spider, with an enduring and
relentless spirit!!!

Ok, gotta go! Have a good day guys!!!

Sincerely,
Kamal

Simply reading all your posts will make a non-fs person a fanatic in no time at all!!! This is what i call Spider-Men!! Not that we have fangs, and teeth and chop at each other la...but u get the picture. Lol

Let's hunt this Sat! Ura y not we meet at 745? I feel 9 plus a little too late lei. Randy ok for you? I know it's tuf as Sat is the weekend and your family might need you in the mornings too. We see how k? Just feel that start earlier better. My apologies too that I can't hunt the whole day. Teaching la after that, that's why must end by about 12plus.

So Ura this Sat how? Shall we go megatron? =)

Yes, Aso is the 9min hero, as well as Ratchet!! That one is a damn good spider too, to be able to withstand, and fight Aso!! Aso is THE MAN! Confirm when you release him that night, he already had one-night stand with all the chio-boo there! Lol

Aiyoyo, why so secretive about places? Let's not get too possessive and secretive. It makes the forum look unfriendly, and it creates division, if you know what I mean.

So what if people know a certain place? Let's share with each other, and not be like that. Takes out the human-ness in us.

QUOTE(mindstorm @ Nov 5 2010, 11:27 AM)
here's some side show... from the male mangrove jumpers(Ligurra latidens)

From the front, it looks cute and innocent
[attachmentid=1869127]
But from the top, you can see the half-folded long chelicerae.
Not a big jumper, about 7.5mm body length including chelicerae
[attachmentid=1869128]
More close-up views of their deadly weapons.
[attachmentid=1869125][attachmentid=1869126]
[attachmentid=1869124]
Finally, watch how their long sharp chelicerae is used in this spectacular battle between a young and older mangrove jumper of similar size.

OMG!!! This one really looks FIERCE! Thanks for sharing Mindstorm.
They look a little like beetles too from some angles. =)

Thanks again for sharing. Really interesting spider. It's 'fangs' look
really scary though. Think I might not dare catch! Lol

QUOTE(Krauser @ Nov 16 2010, 12:37 PM)
Holaaa.. finally sorted out laptop with servicing centre.. Team Krauser has been disbanded last Saturday due to lack of time. So the team has been released into my flowerpots along my corridor after being fed a cricket each along with some BUs to keep them entertained  tongue.gif I was hoping they'd survived better since my maid water the plants every morning and there are abundant ants as food for them.
[attachmentid=1887940]
This morning weather was sunny providing good lighting conditions for me to capture some stills so I went hunting in my own flowerpots! cool eh? Found Dentist where he was originally looking rather thin. So I took him out for feeding. Not surprisingly he was jumpy and escaped a few times before I captured him, fed him and placed him back.
[attachmentid=1887939]
Next saw a random FS looking healthy
[attachmentid=1887943]
Then some movement on the right side captured my eye.. TONG BU! and the FS looks well fed too!
[attachmentid=1887944]
Crept in closer to get better shot
[attachmentid=1887945]

Couldn't locate anymore from 1st glance, maybe when I have more time I'l dig them up.. hopefully they are still there  sweat.gif

Anyways was also meddling with this form of long term leaves housing for the FS based on the idea posted by Ura in his earlier posts. I used opened ended KFC straws instead with the bottom burned shut with cig lighter.
[attachmentid=1887942]
The leaves has been there since last Thursday and still looked lively rclxm9.gif  considering they aren't money plant type leaves. Also just had to top up the water in the straw like once in 4days using a used disposable syringe that I used before to feed my kids with medicine.
[attachmentid=1887941]

Ole!

Selamat Hari Raya Krauser. Wah, your pictures make mi want to come to your place to hunt instead of going p# or N##, etc.

Really nice to see all the posts here. Always come back here to see and read more!

Hope Ura, Randy and Trevally had a good time catching fs today.

Wow! Randy, yes you HAVE probably fulfilled my dream, at least half of it. The other half will be fulfilled (wiping saliva) when I see Raksasa and let him hop onto my hand. I know EXACTLY what you mean when you say that Ura! I know that feeling! Haha. Or maybe I don't, as I've never caught an FS of that size! Ok, hoping to join you'll again in action. I've been really busy. I miss hunting with you too Randy. =) Thanks, as always, to Ura for taking the time to upload photos and videos. This forum wouldn't be the same without you Ura. =)
Have a great day guys!

Ura, that pic oso very nice actually. The more I see it, the more I appreciate it. But I was
actually talking about the second picture horizontally, where Raksasa is looking away from
the camera. He really looks big there.
Haha, ya now saw the boo. Haha. I know bro, must be really tuf taking photos. Your photos
are very nice. =)

Bro Ura,

No actually I prefer the frontal shots, but that particular shot where Raksasa is looking away just happens to show his mammoth size, so it's nice!

January's going to be busy again for me, as weekend's are always filled with music lessons, but this 19th (Dec) will be good as I have nothing on that day at all! But only if you'll are free too. Otherwise, no prob, I'll just view the videos. That itself is already so gratifying!

QUOTE(Urahinuk @ Dec 11 2010, 12:18 AM)
Hi Bro Kamal, no problem i will be free on the 19th this month.. i think we shall explore some new spots on that day.. smile.gif Looking forward.. i still remember back in June, there was 1day we started hunting so early in the morning, we went Sembawang area 1st and later on to few other spots. Any idea? That time you were keeping Challenger, and we witnessed how well he was a Fighter.. is always Good Memories to me.. biggrin.gif

Oh my goodness, those are really beautiful memories man! I remember bro Ura, we left early morning, and hunted until about 5plus
I think? Can't remember what time we ended. But it was really beautiful. I would love to re-live those moments again, just that, more
busy now. But frankly speaking, thank you for always uploading videos and pics. I wonder how it'll be when you start working and
start getting more busy. Who'll upload all the videos? Hopefully there'll be an Ura junior! rclxms.gif

Yes bro, Challenger was indeed a warrior! flex.gif He fought 4 or more different FS'es that day and won all of them. And we didn't even
give him much time to rest in between the bouts. Very strong fellow. If you had your present method of rearing fs, I would have
passed him to you. He was getting weak, so I felt I should return him to nature. Haha, talking about all this makes me feel warm
inside, because of my love for fs I guess. Sometimes I feel..is it good to catch fs and make them fight, and lose a leg etc? Haha.
Then I feel a little bad. sad.gif

But anyway, if FS could talk and communicate with us, I can tell you this...if they were to lose a leg or so in a fight, and they communicated
that pain to us, we would be the ones crying and feeling the remorse much more. cry.gif

I might be free today at about 4pm, but too late right? Will you be anywhere at that time today? I think wherever I go at that time,
all the fs kaki would have swept the area clean of fs, or rather, kungs. The boos will still be there though. blink.gif

Beautiful video. I like the part where you let him jump to the camera, and also the fight in the video, it somehow
showed the aggresive, 'male' part of him, after we saw the 'romantic' side of him when wooing the boo. Nice video.
Can see how healthy he still is after 90 days!

Good job bro.

Haha, the first two videos are damn funny!!! Lol.
Bro Ura, your Brolly's picture on the leaves with a blend of colours from pink to brown is
professional photo standard! I love it. Excellently taken!

Probably one of the best fs photos in the world.
