Added on May 18, 2011, 1:37 am managed to take some pics and videos before I call it a night. conclusion, my fs cannot tahan chop..but against saphire, even kg pandan seen as a chopster against ampang boy (yesterday rank no 1) surrender after a few pushes (weird to think off cause ampang boy, goldie, kg pandan all was defeated by saphire by merely few pushes). my efford and time for catching goldie, ampang boy, kg pandan (which all average sized 7mm) was all but nothing for a short few seconds (i thought at least they can give a good work out to saphire).


i've kept my fs under tight security to avoid another horrow dog attack

caught 2 chopster from the same tree by the roadside under hot sun (seems like every plant/tree here got fs distinguish only by sizes from different area)

I've explore more and more places and got lost at one stage, came out the main road to find myself at the other end of a long highway the taman here is too big. More than 10 taman in one big taman, imagine ang mo kio, hou gang, jurong and a few more taman stick to each other with small roads linking up each other (secondary roads other than highway). boarder joining tamans is separated by a house kinda thing...best part is every less than 500m u will see an area with lots of plants (undevelop small area)

have to wake up as early as 5 tomorrow to catch my flight...airport so far

I got a glimpse of sg's way of conducting fs fights when I met bro Ricky, Randy & Edmund. learn quite a few lessons from them
and truly indeed its amazing to see live fights of fs with kakis. though its a short meetup, I appreciate the time spend together & most importantly I got some baby crickets & LC worms from bro Ricky (thanks a bunch bro also for gandao the chopster) .

I was alone in the hotel at this hour & made a short clip out of side kick vs gandao's fight (2 parts as I lost control of my phone when the fight goes to the edge, 6 secs in btween)

I finally got a chopster trained thanks to bro ricky's gandao. Overall, I've gained from this invaluable experience about fs fighting such as feeding before fights, chopster behavious etc etc thanks to the short meetup .

there is a 2minutes + fight between silver and golden force (interesting match) which wow me (I hope to record such matches with my own fs soon).
Nevertheless, its all fun other than getting stuck for almost an hour trying to get back to the other side. hope to see u guys again soon

Hi Everyone

WOW.. Nowadays we already have a Whole New Batch of FS-Feverish Kakis, namely Bros (Randy, Ricky, Edmund and Jason).. seems like those who belonged to 2009 Batch and earlier no longer post so much.. well it could be all sorts of reasons.. some busy with family, some busy with work, some lost interest in FS.. whatever the reasons are.. everyone who once joined this FS Circle i believe all of them had truly enjoyed themselves with FS and i must say this is one of the Most Perfect Place to learn about FS and it shall be engraved as a Lifetime Memory whether they come back or not..

Anyway really Kudos to Bros (Ricky, Buaya and AhKim) on Tue for their Efforts to capture all the disorientated FS in Nir**** and release them elsewhere.. Although i dun really hunt there, I am deeply grieved at this news. Becos the Spot was actually a Perfect Place for breeding FSes, and imagine all the Thousands of FSes there lost their Homes in just Few Hours time.. really sad..

Currently i am devoting 80% of my FS time to the T.Sub Slings as i find these Species especially Amazing with their Colors and Size. Actually T.Sub and T.Bha are just like an Elder Brother to a Younger Brother. They are really Close to each other, only obvious differences being their Colors and Size. There are still lots more to be explored. Currently i think it is only myself and Bro Yuda keeping T.Sub FS.. He is also keeping some Slings, 3 i think.. from Taiwan.. and now i am keeping 17 Slings(from HongKong), that will be my limitation and i shall try my Best and see them thru the months of several moultings until they become Full Adults(In chinese they called it 成虫).. All the 17 Slings are still now in their 2nd Instar period, which i think is the Toughest and Trickiest Period to rear them as they are really Fragile. Not even the Smallest cricket can be used to feed them, i am actually using the LC worms from Bro Randy, without this source from him i think rearing T.Sub Slings will never be possible too. These LC worms when just hatched are really tiny, which is only about 0.3~0.5mm Width and that is the Perfect size of food for a 2nd Instar Sling.

Yeah me too really enjoyed the gathering tho e time so short,if u come on weekend lagi best,cos some other bros can't make it ytd due to work.
Actually all ur Fs very big sized especially Goldie & Saphire,they looks still fresh I believe just give some training & pump with crickets u will c the different within a short period of times.as for yesterday fights,bro i think u make the wrong decision to fight ur Saphire with Mentor..man,tis fella is a Makan-pow,u shud pick my T-Rex to fight instead,I told bro Randy shud name his 1st king Swallow ..

Haha I'm still here reading the forum almost everyday but just didn't make any posts The fs blood still running inside me, just that I'm too tie up with family matters and thus have to take a long break for this hobby

Yes, it is nice to have new Kaki joining the FS world and it is especially great that Bro Jason make the trip all the way to SG just to fight FS.

The fight venue was in Yishun (190511) and the first and best fight between my Professor and Bro Ricky's Mah Bok was not clear as the camcorder was in the aircon room and it just stopped raining and the camcorder lens was fogged and I lost both FS.......sorry guys. I agree with Bro Ricky that we should have fought Saphire with T-Rex as Mentor is a makan pow. Should fight normal fighter against normal fighter. Actually Saphire is a very good sized FS and just that he is not ready to take on a chopster. I did give mentor's a try out session with my FS and the video:-

This morning I woke up early and actually wanted to rest as it rained last night and the leaves would be wet...not good for hunt. As I was munching on my scones....just felt like hunting FS again. Well took my BMX and fit into the back seat and off I go to Nirvana. Yes the place is totally gone. I cycled from Nirvana to NTU (along the pavement) stopping along the way to flip the leaves and was rewarded with 6 males. Brought home 4 and yet to test them and at most 2 are SL sized.

Came home tired, dirty but happy as have FS to try.

Tomorrow I will be meeting Bro Ricky and Bro Buaya and will fight at 0730 at Nirvana. Fellow FS Bros, please feel free to come and join.

Yo Bro Trevally, Long Time No See!! Yeah i am trying my Best to rear all these Slings nowadays.. Do you know that all these T.Sub Slings actually grow faster than they are in HK?? I think it must be due to the Humid Weather in SG, everything seems to be speeding up. It was becos when i compared my documented dates with Bro Xarms, it was always mine seems to take lesser time. And he told me it will take around 8~9 months there for a Sling to reach its Full Adult stage.. So maybe in SG, it will only take 6 months..? Well.. we will see how long it takes..

I got a Sling named BB02, it was hatched on the 2nd May, moulted its 1st time on the 9th May and today 11+am it moulted the 2nd time, i was so LUCKY to have witnessed the whole process and videoed the whole thing. But it was not very clear, i will get a even Better Camera soon! Before it actually started to moult, the Sling looked as if it was dying, i was so worried. Just like a FS who gets slow and gradually not moving and just RIP there. So i actually left it alone, hoping it'll recover by itself and then i tried to attend to BB03 first. But still very worried and glanced back after few seconds, then now i confirmed it was just starting its moulting process as i once witnessed this back in late 2009. But that time the moulting process has already began for quite sometime.

So here's the Video, not very Clear though but i think this should be the First Ever FS Moulting Process Video in this Forum..

Hi Everyone

This is the first time I actually see a spider moult. At first din know what to make out of it but found BB02 rather cute, like a sweet baby or a stuff toy. Then when moulting, can see how delicate the FS is. Hopefully we all get to see a T-sub male soon.

One of the males caught this morning along Jalan Bahar manage to beat Professor, so will release Professor together with all the other newly caught FS. This newly caught is called Macho Man. This name is a tribute to my wrestling Hero Randy (Macho man) Savage who just passed away. I hope that the stretch of road between NTU and Nirv### could supply us with FS. Spent about one hour along the pavement and even though was raining a bit with wet leaves, managed to get a reasonable number of FS, including Macho Man who is likely SL sized. Here's the video:-

Well.. a Sling in HK will take around 8~9months to reach Full Adult Stage.. In SG, i will see how long it takes, i guess it will roughly take 6~7months to reach, becos of the Hot weather here.. let's see how.. It will be more practical to see readily T.Sub Males, will be earlier.. by Sep/Oct should be able to see.. i also cant wait to see what will be the outcomes when the T.Bha meets the T.Sub.. T.Sub Males will most likely need "extra" training.. as their inborn fighting traits are not the same as T.Bha..

Will meet up with you soon for some FS Hunting.. Yeah Randy's Mentor is quite a "Hiong" Chopster, it sort of remind of this FS named Bullet.. becos of their Thick Solid and Long Arms.. and Both are very Dark in Color.. Well.. as far as i know.. the Real MakanPow's approaching stance should be the kind where they will raise their arms while charging ahead.. Bullet is confirmed one of it.. in these days it has already become so Rare to see a Real MakanPow..

Yo Bro Randy, i'm glad that you do find the T.Sub Sling Cute, haha.. Ok here's another FS knowledge for those who aren't aware, including myself before this Moulting Process.. FS(either T.Bha or T.Sub) even though they have injured/lost their Leg(s) or Forearm(s), it can be Grown back on the Next moulting(but chances should get slimmer at the last second instar), and this really sound Amazing to me..!

And here i have my 1st Example for BB02, it did not lose its Forearm nor Leg. But its Right Forearm was used to be shorter than usual. It was becos when it was hatched that time, unfortunately that front part was sticked to other unborn Eggs.. i was so worried for it then..

Here's a Photo taken on the 6th May, this was at its 1st Instar Period:

Noticed BB02 was at the back like struggling..?

And i thought it will be fine after its 1st Moulting.. but again Fate played a Trick on BB02.. what happened this time..? this time it couldn't get rid off its exoskeleton totally.. its Right Forearm was being glued to it, see how Hard BB02 tried to struggle in order to free itself:





But finally it went for the Comfort instead of the Full Right Forearm's Length and Cut it off:




And today it is a Brand-New 3rd Instar Sling with Normal Right Forearm's Length:




Lastly.. i really felt Happy and Relieved for BB02.. hope it will continue to grow Healthily..

Tomiko V Mentor:- Mentor is about one size bigger than Tomiko but still lost comprehensively. Tomiko shows that even for Fs, size does not matter. Tomiko is simply stronger, younger and counter attacked well. Luckily the fight was stopped and hopefully Mentor can fight another time. Let's hope Mentor does better next time.

Macho Man V Mah Bok:- Macho Man is my latest FS and is my 1st King now. He is a one for one replacement for This Is It who suddenly grew old and has been released. Macho Man was caught along Jalan Bahar and presumably has the NTU bloodline which I hold in high regard. My current team:-

(1) Macho Man
(2) Mentor
(3) Love
(4) Rudge

Coincidentially, all of my Fs are from different parts of SG. Macho Man from Jalan Bahar, Mentor with Mandai, Love is a gift from Bro Ura and Rudge is a gift from Bro Ricky. Anyway, I heard that our fellow FS Bros had a successful hunt in Chan##. Please do enlighten me about your hunt as I could not join you guys.

Hi bro Randy,yah today we had a great hunt in Chan## with Bro Buaya,Kim,Ricky,Vincent & Seng + myself.

I was there late and by the time I reached there,Veteran Kim & Buaya had already caught 1 full bag of FS.

Chan## has different leaves from Nirvana ,they are much smaller & much more difficult to spot a wandering FS.

Bro Ricky caught & shows me a FS hiding in between 2 leaves when suddenly he threw the leaves away,he told me there's centipede inside the leaves,
luckily he managed to recover the FS(quite a good size almost ML).Bro Ricky gave me this FS which I happily name 'Centipede'.

Bro kim also gave me a good size (should be ML) which I name it 'BlueFox' . Bluefox won my Silver easily..........Bluefox is much bigger than Silver.

At around 5pm + it was so exciting to see more FS wandering around,during this time it's more like 'picking' than catching FS....haha

Around 5.45pm we called it a quit as it's getting dark & everyone was quite tired.

I'm very happy to hunt today & managed to form a new team for my FS;

BlueFox
Centipede
Diablo
Cobra

All quite good size & should be of confirm ML after some feeding but don't know which FS is stronger because they're new
and still under feeding & training.

Nice to know that everyone came home from Chan## hunt with some FS. Hope that Chan## would be the next spot to supply us with FS.

Anyway, Mentor has lost one arm and likely bit it off himself. He is nevertheless very healthy but decided to set him free. One small regret is did not take a Grid photo of Mentor after some days of feeding as he had grown quite significantly.

I understand that our Bro Jason will be coming for another round of fights. I should be Ok this week @ 6.00pm at the same place as last time.

saphire won vs gundao spar - gundao spar died few hours later. there's a second clip where gundao spar is severely injured which I did not record because the match continued when gundao spar climb up (I turn off the recoder when gundao fell not knowing the match will continue). gundao spar is really a good fighter, never turn his back on any fight, thanks to bro Ricky for training his fs so good
