Hi Everyone

Happy belated Valentine Day to all.  rclxms.gif

Yes, Valentine Day, besides love all about friendship too and I do appreciate this unique warm friendship we fellow kaki have for each other. I never imagined that as a married working adult with 2 children, I would or could indulge in this hobby again. The difference between this wonderful hobby as a child and as a matured adult is surely the warm friendship we fellow kaki's have for/with each other.

As a child, it was (at least to me) winning at all cost and I did as a child quarreled with others over the disputed outcome of a match, lost sleep over losing and constantly yearning for championship recognition among my schoolmate. I even offered $1.00 (35 years ago $1.00 quite a handsome sum) to the school champion only to be turned down by him as someone had offered him $10.00.  shocking.gif I lost some friends in my own blinded desire for primary school glory..all because I was immature and perhaps childish. Now as an adult, even though I still yearn for recognition and perhaps Fs glory, it is with a full dose of light hearted-ness. I realised that it is actually fun to lose and even more fun to work hard hunting to regain championship glory, but all in a fun adult way.

Well how does all these relate to Valentine Day??? Well the fun adult way include especially this warm friendship. It is heart warming to see Bros Rudy and Bro Ricky being warmly welcome in Malaysia while Bro Viper and Bro Jason being warmly welcome in Singapore. This warmth is the main difference between Fs as an adult and as a child.

To me, this warmth is reflected in our almost weekly FS fights always filled with laughter and happiness....lose or win. I am happy to be part of this cozy small group of FS who cordially invite me to join in the fights. Bro Seng, Vincent and Ah Kim being super old timer makes no distinction or mention about seniority and junior Kaki like me, Rudy and Ricky are all part of this one happy family. I may not have been champion for sometime but I am happy with our friendship.  icon_rolleyes.gif

Yoo bro Randy, yeah Valentine Day was just over and agreed that it's about love and friendship. I remembered that the SG fs activities started in year 2009 with bro Edwin and Yuda and from there on more and more SG kakis joined in the fun. Those times were great. No disputes and personal grudges. As more and more kakis joined in, there are bound to have someone who yearn for championship recognition. Its human nature when it involves competitions. Situation got worst with the introduction of foreign talents ( HK T Bha and T Sub ) and resentments were there. Things got worst in the later part of 2011 and escalated to 2012. This is very sad.

Hopefully as what bro Randy had said Valentine Day is not just for love but also friendship, I hope the hatred, resentments, angers, grudges will all be vanished and we still be bros and enjoyed the fs activities like yesterday once more ! biggrin.gif

Hi Jason, $50 that's hell lots of $$ drool.gif at that time, M$50 = S$50 then!!

Thanks for the advice.  The other day I went to Trevally's spider blog. Enjoy
1. the different types of spiders.  that's basically how we classify spiders in Singapore by the colour stripes in the abdomen
2. the different ways of catching spiders. to me, the big plastic bag and scissor method is still the most effective
3. the containers to house spiders.  Now, spiders live in a palace
4. the fight involving Yuda's BIG spider.  On the youtube, that spider really looks huge. Wondering what is its size.

I also found out that T.Bha is a very common spider species in Asia (from India to China). Yesterday, I asked my Myanmar (Burmese) friend whether he ever catch spiders in his kids' days.  He said, "no". When I showed him our forum and some pictures of T.Bha, he told me he has never seen such spiders before.  The strange thing is that he lived in the village/countryside.  Will ask around other nationalities.

Hi John, oh haha my name is John as well tongue.gif

Thanks for visiting my spider blog. Its histroy and I've not update it for very long time. I'm gald that I wrote the blog as it serves as a wonderful memories of those good times wtih the kakis.

You mean this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wHEVJpNvNrM...player_embedded ? Yes, at that time Yuda spiders clamied to be the biggest. It should be L size and most of us only managed to get M to SL size till Ken25 intro us to NTU tongue.gif

Hi Guys!  Itz been a long time since i logged in. Everyones fine? Dinget to join u guys for the past 1+yrs mainly due to the lost of my driving licence. But dun worry, couple mths more will be able to drive again.

After reading thru the last few pages only, noticed that T.Subs are now in our FS scene also. If im not wrong, ive seen a T.Sub myself few yrs ago from taiwan, brought bk by one of our members Evilporkchop...longer arms n slightly bigger body. In my opinion, T.Bha shldnt be used to challenged T.Subs, or mayb for the fun of it, probably can but not for result matches. I have afew questions im curious to know, hehe

1) the T.Subs that u guys have now are bigger than Termy or TFM in size? bigger by alot?

2)where is BTL's farm u guys were talkin abt? n as in he owns the farm?

LAst but not least, got to know that some of our members went on HKG trips for fs couple of times, really kudos to them! Anyway, will log in more often from now n hope to see u guys again soon.

Cheers!

Yoo bro, yeah its been a long time u 'MIA' from fs circle haha. Good to have u back reading the forum again biggrin.gif Agree with you on the point that tsub and tbha should not complete for matches.

1) Yes, I've seen the big tsub from bro Ura last year and its much much bigger then our sg tbha. Tsub exists in taiwan as well. Those who like to own big fs will be keen to own a tsub. Then again there's this HK Tbha which is much bigger in size as our local tbha as well. Hopefully bro Ura would be able to get them this year and show it to you.

Fighting Spiders: SM Punk (left) vs Spar_Blackie (right)
SM Punk vs Spar_Blackie

Gotta stop the match else both wouldn't survive, but i think Spar_Blackie is seriously injured (his fangs) as he couldn't hold on to his food (crics), hope he will pull thru.. at least he has a good match to be remembered for..... smile.gif
