Should be Genji type of FS... but have short arms and legs.

Few days ago went to a new FS hunting area near Ampang Hilir, just beside Jalan Pengawai.
Theres several abandoned big empty banglo land with nice green leaves potential for FS.
Its a big area lotsa yam leaves and looks very tempting... so give it a try hunt for FS

Caught more than 10+ males FS mostly about 6-7mm- ,only about 2 FS close to abt 7mm+.
Some are chopster, partial chopster and some normal FS.

The biggest one have thin abdomen but head size quite ok.
Smaller size if compare to Hyperion impressive long arms and Zet muscular wide body but consider not bad size ady .


After spar released at Hyperion spot and also my housing area garden.



How to catch FS from Yam leaves?

Use big see thru plastic bag.. cover the whole leaves from top to the stem.

Use transparent plastic glass/pill case or noodle/rice box cover the top FS nest block the exit/entrance hole and use the cover to close at bottom.

Good catch..your new FS Gorgon looks great.
Looks like ur hunting spot have a lot good size FS.
Arm stance abit relax type, arm open wide and up when approaching near its opponent, doesn't look like defensive at all.
Maybe just molt not long ago or too confident to win fight.

Hope Roto vs Gorgon will be an exciting match.

It will be great if the video can zoom near enough to show clearly both FS awesome large size and close up fighting actions.
The fight will be more exciting and have more impact for the audience 2 see.

Some good videos taken by bro Randy previously really bring out the FS size, fierce face, close up fighting actions and its really awesome to see these videos many times over and over again

Yes, bro Ken25 shared his FS passion experience and knowledge selflessly, makes playing FS experience more lively, exciting and fun.
Thanks to him, a lot of us FS kakis having good friendship and great time together in FS activities.

I've alwys enjoy hunting/ fighting FS/gathering with FS kakis who r friendly and outgoing for the thrill and fun FS passion.
Instead of entertain ppl with their own selfish agenda and spoil the mood, I enjoy more see exciting FS fights, FS adventures etcs.

For me FS is a challenging season hobby.. there will be good times where good size FS caught, exciting FS fight, new hunting spots and all this will only
be possible if more +ve effort to share the joy of FS adventures.

Congrates to bro Randy and thanks to Krauser for both having strong team of FS fights.

Temensis, Cat mountain, Roti , Sponge Bob, Bane, storm Rider. <--------all very strong FS sia!

Excellent FS line up by Randy to fight Krauser FS team.

Roti defeated Storm Rider
Sponge bob defeated Cat mountain (super wide arm stance)
Bane, defeated Temensis

Both Sponge Bob and Bane fought hard against Cat mountain & Temensis.. before facing Roti for the champion title.

Roti defeated Storm Rider, Sponge Bob and Bane! Very strong FS indeed!

Lost 2 pedipalps ... its very odd. Normally i came across those cases FS lost 1 pedipalp only..
Maybe both get bitten off by crickets/Bu/ants/chopster?
Some male FS will bite off one of its own injured pedipalps if get bitten hard during fights.. eg.

Since both pedipals lost, unable to breed anymore .. Wasted coz Roto is a XL FS.

Went back to hunt Fs at the new spot empty banglo land at Jln Pengawai again during my free time.
Previous hunt only cover about 60-70% of that area coz didn't go to the far end area which was wet, dense leaves and have plants with torns ...
This time plan to comb/cover the remaining 30% land area look for FS.

Bring along a car stering lock bat as safety protection

No pedipals means cant sex/mate already.... still have teeth.

Pedipalps are sensory organs that spiders(and other arthropods with them) use to taste and smell.
Spiders also use them to help manipulate food to the mouth parts (chelecera)
In male spiders these also serve to deliver sperm to the female during mating.

I hunt recently coz saw Ricky posting of new FS n videos in Oct/Nov. Theres new potential FS spot near my area so
just want to chk whether have any good size FS there and also contribute to this forum.
After catch FS, take pic, videos and release back at my housing area and also other places that I've hunted bfr to repopulate back the FS.
Only keep some for normal fights and see whether can progress to strong and exciting fight later on.
But the normal FS still young, might takes few weeks before mature n can fight well, whereas the chopster alwys brutal fight... one already retired early after fought each other.
Will release sooner or later also.

U can try fight fs with other SG kakis.. they have some good strong FS in hand.

This afternoon, passby a banglo construction site with big garden.
Went in for a quick FS hunt coz later have to rush off to other place ...

Not all fs can fight well. Some might just molt/young/not much fight experience/etc.
Tats why need filtering and try to identify potential good fighter.

After sort out then can try to find other equally strong fs to get good fight.

Nice power fight between Gorgon and Cat Mountain.

CM lost to SpongeBob last week but now fighting will have improves a lot coz managed to give Gorgon tough fight and won!

From video Gorgon looks bigger size and longer arms than CM.
Gorgon strong push and arm grab lock forcing CM backward till edge, CM have 2 jump and try hard to break free and arm lock during fighting back.
Cm stronger fighting will, more aggressive...exchanging bites and manage to win the fight in the end.

Good try from Gorgon.. maybe can win if have stronger fighting will and uses more strength/go all out in fight.
