Yesterday's was the first in a very long time that me & Bro Trevally dropped by PA since our almost 1yr hiatus and it felt like a trip down memory lane. It was so eerily quiet very much unlike the same time last yr when I recalled this place was a hive of FS activity with up to 8 FS bros walking up and down this same stretch, the banter, the shouts, the laughter.. Best of all, I recall with fond memories especially, the matches we had once the hunt was over.. oh well.. those were the times.. hopefully with the new kaki's like Randy, Kamal, Bensra and IZ, we might be able to revive those times..

Anyways back to our hunt yesterday..

I always seem to have the worst of luck at PA much unlike Trevally, who can get at least an SL/ML no matter how short the trip and yesterday was no different. We spent like no more than 2hrs there and every nest I inspected either revealed a huge Bu or a tiny Kang while Trevally was filling up his Zip lock bag with Kang after Kang.. he must have caught like 9 and one of them was a really sizeable one about SL which won all.

Bro Trevally told me he hasn't got much time to care for FS so he named it Hugo and gave it to me so that Hugo can be tried for matches with the others

Ello guys... yest went hunting with Krauser at P#. Quite a fruitful trip. Caught several fs. Size ranges from M to SL. There's this fav spot in P# (Ura, u should know where ehehe) where I managed to catch 5 fs within a short period of time ( including the SL )

Btw, not keeping any fs at the moment

Hi Everyone

Never really introduced myself, name is Randy a.k.a Exspiderking.

Only in early Sept that I suddenly became interested in FS again after 30 years plus absence. First Kaki I met was Bro Michael and for the next 3 weeks we hunted all over SG. Caught my 1st decent sized FS, Valtor in 18/9/10. Then met Bro Ura, Kamal, Vincent, Trevally.

Catching FS, fighting FS and having it posted is totally new to me. In fact, before this, had only heard, never seen a Chopster as primary school standard not too high. Learnt a lot from Bro Ura and look forward to meeting all the old bird in the FS world too.

I may be one year late (when the old bird meet to fight FS in 2008 -2009) but better late than never. Look forward to weekend and may we all catch a Titan each.

Just got a sms from bro Vincent yesterday, he asking me when i'll go SG again to meet up again for FS.

Its good to have more ppl here chit chat and share abt FS stuff here. The more the merrier.
Can see more exciting fights and new FS pics etcs..
Unlike earlier days when Mindstorm start tis FS thread, seems like only me & him do the posting.
Now more FS enthusiasm ppl share their FS experiences here so each of us get to enjoy FS as well.

First of all, a Very Warm Welcome to the Debut Postings made by Bro Kamal, Bro Randy and Bro IZI.
You guys definately made the FS community getting more and more lively

Also our Bro Trevally and Bro Krauser, after almost a year of Hiatus and MIA-ing, finally can see some consistent(hopefully) postings from you 2 now. Hope this time you 2 can stay longer with us.

Last sunday while you 2 were hunting in the central side with quite satisfactory results, Bro Jong and myself too were hunting, but in the west side without much satisfactory results. However.. the highlight for me that day is some nice outdoor flash shots of Trio that i managed to take. Plus an indoor shot, hope you guys like it too.







Bro Jong, few weeks ago, after invested in a rectangular big plastic container, has always been using the shakedown method whenever we go hunting. From Day1, barely any baby thiania being shaked out till up to date, over 20 Kangs(the largest is a SL size male known as Shell Orpow) in just 2days of hunt, is really an Achievement by Bro Jong! 凄いですね!
The next target would be to shake out a ML or even L-size Kang, Bro Jong been working hard on this, i believe this goal wouldnt be far from now!

Recently released 3 of my ML, namely Ramen, Aso and Tarsus. I feel that it is time to give them back the freedom they deserved. Hope they will still be doing well in the wild, i really cant bear to leave Aso that time when i released him. He is really my Dear Dear FS, a FS i will always remember in my heart.. Forever & Ever

And now he is back to his hometown, maybe he is now sharing with his folks and old friends there how he has been in the past 46days staying at Ura's FS bungalow and the fights he has been thru, particularly the 9mins fight which made him the Famous Hero of his hometown overnight. Maybe now there are many female FS Babes outside his nest queueing for the interview of seeking the consent to mate with him hahaha just kidding.. Yahoo!! ASO PLEASE TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOURSELF THERE, I will always feel proud of YOU even you're no longer by my side eating the baby crickets i fed you, listening to my piano performances, posing yourself in front of my Canon Ixus and some other memorable details we once shared, wah sounds very Dramatic man

Sure Bro IZI, we will "hit" you soon. This sat i guess will have quite a few Kakis joining in the fun of hunting. Venue not yet confirmed, some suggested KRP, some P#, some...? Well.. maybe we can carry out a poll to see the majority wish to go where. In fact it is really a Joy to know that there are actually much more hidden FS enthusiasts in SG where we have yet to chance upon.

I suppose majority of us here were connected to this FS circle thru the youtube channel, thanks to youtube, if not we wouldnt be able to revive our FS passion that were buried deep in our hearts for a long time.
So all FS Bros, our mission here is to bring the FS activities to even Greater Heights, each and everyone of us is essential in the participation. Be it catching the next XL-size FS since the only XL FS last seen was Titan caught by Bro BTL(but AWOL-ing for very long already, now dunno still reading this forum or not), catching the Legendary Ah Bung Ah Lek(2 Brothers FS who dont fight with each other but the Elder brother is known as a Super Good Fighter), experimenting more new staple food for our FS like what Bro Randy did, giving our FS a better environment to live in, videoing more exciting fights and etcs...

Yes Bro Trevally, i surely know which spot you're talking about. Well next time whenever i pass by that spot, i will tell the others this is the "Trevally Spot", just like there is also a "Buaya Spot" in N## hahaha.

Hey Bro Randy pls dont say that, in my opinion i think you are already a "High Flyer" in our FS circle. Already managed to own 3 ML FS barely 2months time since signing up our FS membership, last time when i just joined, i only managed to catch a ML per month.
Valtor will continue to do well i think, cos now is his most prime period, as long as he can maintain himself to not converting to a chopster, with his capability i am sure he can handle most chopsters with ease.

Wah, so many posting in such a short time.

Bro Ura: I like the part about Aso "listening to my piano performance". Valtor has likewise been listening to piano, guitar and organ music from Exspiderking's sea-side mansion (..actually HDB flat). Hopefully all these music makes Valtor a better fighter.

Bro Krauser: Your 1st King name being Satsugai meaning 'murdering', ...very fierce. On the other hand, my 1st king's name Valtor is actually the handsome bad guy from Winx club...from a girly cartoon shown every evening on Octo channel. In term of names, yours win hands down. hah Ha.

Bro Kamal: Want to hunt earlier? If I have no errants or household matters, I can start even earlier. Think it was about 2 weeks ago that I met Bro Ura at 6.30am. Yes.. I can wake up at 5am plus for FS. Had also prior to meeting you guys left home to hunt before sunrise.

Will confirm meeting time later part of the week.

Bro Randy might be quite familiar with this pictorial coz he was the one who gave me the idea to come to this place. Sorry about the quality. Taken with my Iphone 3GS since it was impromptu visit.

Today had some time to burn during lunch hr so decided to drive to this location behind Mount Faber since it's close to my client office at Harbourfront and I also need to burn away my increasing waistline Once there parked by the side of the road and snapped this pic of the location



woohoo CB trees. Got out of car and started walking down the path browsing the leaves along the way. Saw some nest but mostly Bu or empty since it rained earlier then spotted a Kang! .but small la.. and my god.. so tiny..



Alarmed, it turned around and sorta gave me his threat posture which is kinda cute



Browsed somemore and nothing.. by then I had wandered about 150m and looked back and snapped another pic - notice by now the lorries and buses in front of my car had driven off. I must have caused them undue panic coz I was wearing office attire and here I am browsing leaves and snaping pictures.. It was illegal parking btw



Walked back to car then noticed this stairway leading up... ARGHH! NEA sanctioned area.. past memories of me together with bro Trevally and Ken25 past brush with the LAW returned .. but what the heck, went up the stairs anyway
