would just like to ask..
kaosspad 3..anyone know how much would it come up to?
would anyone consider it to be an essential item to ones set up?
*
brand new thousand plus i think.. quite fun playing that thing, but i have only tried the first gen of the pad..
not really essential, just ask yourself if u really need effects in your set..

hi guys i just got something on my mind about this kinda hairwire cheap dvs setup....any idea?

this is my " hmm.gif  2 cent oppinion" only...

pros:
-8 deck simultaniosly (4 left/4right if using traktor)
-backup plan if lappy suddenly get hang
-i'm assume thats no lagging
-cheap s/card setup

cons:
-need alot of power supply (2 lappy,1 mixer,2 deck)

err..anyone had tried or tested this theory? can share some oppinion..
*
u cant use traktor scratch pro with other scard except audio4/8 ler.. if u want 'cheap' then go for mixvibes

1 good lappie makes more sense than 2 average lappies.. as long as ur laptop is good, dont worry about crashing it.. i had sessions with tsp that lasted for 5-6 straight hours without a glitch.. plus with 2 laptops u have to have ur track collection in 2 separate hd, like u said, too much mess with not much advantage..

well looks your equipment much expensive than my cheap setup here...in this case i just carry 2 small lappy n 2 small s/card connect to clubs equipment..i means this is alternative way than a standard equipment.
hawtin? ya he's good... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J1H9W_iLff0

2 deck=normal
4 deck= awesome
8 deck= ur crazy!!

"DJ" is all about creativity...be different than others

i'm beginner like to learn midi-cdj-tt..can arr?

anyway homo bierber? LOLz thumbup.gif  rclxm9.gif
*
u might want to really really test that setup before playing it for people in a club.. traktor isnt designed to go with any other scard, i have a bad feeling its gonna fked up

does it matteR? smile.gif u cannot go wrong with shure m44-7 anyway..
but beware i heard there is "fake" shure .. so yea.. ask westokan about it ..
*
not fake, just 'no brand' or 'generic' is what they call it.. if fake they sure put the brand name there.. its good for scratch practice where u want to abuse it.. and its only like 40bux each

Added on June 4, 2010, 5:08 ambeen a while since i mix and now trying on traktor pro, donno why took this long to dl it.. so jakun now haha.. so with lpd8 and tts, now i got 4 channel to control

whoa! that means you already have cdj2000/900 in your store!
those players are great, but the cdj350 looks more promising for leisure use....it's now June, almost the release date.
*
entry level cdjs but ada bpm lock.. i sense in the future no dj will know how to beatmatch manually..

Hm..well. As long as the audience enjoys it..its okay. Beatmatchin is a skill anyway
*
its the same argument as why learn long division if we have calculators now, we still get the answer.. or why we need to take driving license test using manual car if we only plan to use auto cars..

its not like beatmatching is rocket science anyways, damn easy once u get it..
