Hey, Im a begineer DJ learning to mix using computer software like Virtual DJ. I know the basics of beatmatching and all but I just want to know, what type of songs should I try to mix now. I do not know if I should try mixing house music or popular music etc etc. Thanks for the answers

QUOTE(opfish @ Jan 24 2011, 11:15 AM) Bought a Y-cable last week. Yes, didn't solve the problem. Now I dunno what to do.... You only have one sound card in your laptop. Its not possible. Get a USB sound card. That should solve your problem. It cost quite a lot. Around 88 for a creative USB sound card

QUOTE(dj.sars @ Mar 4 2011, 10:17 PM) well softwares in djing to name some most djs uses serato and traktor some djs uses ableton which i think is such a pain in the ass but really good stuff there are some other djing softwares such as virtual dj, mixvibes, torq etc.. The thing is, they have CDJ-s and a mixer but they have a lappy in front of them
