well, why not start producing your own sounds and effects? although fruity loops is a amateur looking program, but FL can create awesome sounds and effects with the help of VSTs. like AVIO and other big labels in Europe, you just need the basic mixing skills, you can mix from A to B and you'll eligible to mix in big events like Def Qon 1 or Qlimax.

I never had a set of decks. Only rely on ellaskins on youtube. And you do great hardstyle tracks, I have a few of them.

Why not you ask Nick to teach you DJing?
He has decks, I still dont, and I still use Virtual DJ to practice, so when you say you've mastered it, genuinely I ask for pointers and ask you to teach me.

If i wanted to lansi, i would be telling you how many international DJs i've spinned alongside, how many big trance and hardstyle events i've played for, how many times i played alongside Ganjaguru wooooooo (in fact i was just with him half an hour ago before posting this post) and I still havent reached the legal KL clubbing age. Thats LANSI-ING YOU geddit.

And you say you dont need the Malaysian scene at all? What an immatured thing to say, kid. Barely 18 so i dont blame you, you dont understand the importance of the scene, eventhough you take this DJ/production thingy as a part time/side hobby.

anyway to those want to learn what ever virtual dj , or fl , or any other software ..
if u r using laptop/computer with only one output .. it's pretty much useless .. u cannot do mixing on a laptop with only the headphone jack output ..
you cannot scratch on virtual dj .. when i say cannot means , u cannot scratch using your computer's mouse ...yes , u will have that scratching sound , but that's about it. u can't use it in your mix cuz it's almost virtually impossible.


go look at DJ TUTOR on youtube.. there is 1000s of videos .. finish watching that , and that come back here and post your question ..

if u ask how to mix ..
it's like asking us how to drive ... "we will say, unlock your car, put key in ignition, start engine, clutch+gear, and the go ..."
but that still doesn't teach u how to drive properly right? so yea .. please go youtube and type "mixing tutorial"

i must say that , hard style scene is quite "corrupted" lo ..
few time i went to support a "so called" friend last time , ... i see the scene ..all ... erm not to be racist ... all mostly malay ..

somemore those chiqs, wearing heels.. shuffling to hard style songs .. a bit of a LOL ... just doesn't match ...

seriously didnt know how i do it but i actually sat there for like hours ... listening to those songs ...and it isn't my type of song also ..

sold it very quickly. The system to read the thumbdrive very retarded. Plus no space for it, so now practising depend on Thad's gear..

do you have any idea on sounds shops...cause i have this freakin old vinyl record...wana change it to digital.
