QUOTE(Kilohertz @ Jan 17 2017, 02:23 PM) i didnt play for 7 years ago already i still miss that oldschool days which consist of different bpm slowly starting from 90 up until 130 in a set of flow (master tempo on). and then straight hard drop back to 100 refresh and push again. That time mostly using Pioneer cmx3000 or either cdj1000, cd bag everywhere lol. usually i use 2 software, acid pro to edit rmx etc after render and saved then use sony sound forge 7.0 to equalize the sound EQ wave hammer etc so that on the live spin need no to adjust the gain/EQ (in mixer gain pointing at 12 o''clock sharp after set through sound forge). then burn into CD wave format how bout u bro? what kind of genre u into? |

QUOTE(Kilohertz @ Jan 18 2017, 02:51 PM) Me too, no longer have my gears.. just manage my songs through Rekordbox and spin when ever I get a chance.. that's all, don't really practice too. haihz no chance la now, myself dont know my finger still can function like before or not when touch cdj, but now mostly i see all use serato already just bring laptop and connect. last month just visited a friend and he not even using headphone to pitching, just look at the moving wave bar on the screen and adjust the beat line to match. so lazy n simple alreadyThis post has been edited by djandrew: Jan 18 2017, 03:01 PM |

@djandrew Keeping up with the new stuff not necessary, lots of retro places around looking for experienced DJs like you! Recent music can slowly build as you go along. Skills are timeless
I myself like a huge variety of music, but haven't really been able to play the things I want to play (house, indie, electro). Too many uncles telling me they want retro and RnB from the 2000 era. Used to haunt this forum and give advice here and there, but nowadays seems like nobody really keeps up? I generally see people use Facebook much more though. It's easy and lots more features than LYN forums xD |
