Would you guys recommend I get something like CDJ 200 and then invest on Serato SL3..
Or straight go for the expensive stuff (CDJ1000 mk3) and skip Serato entirely
And no getting CDJ1000mk3 and Serato SL3 is not an option tongue.gif

in my opinion, i'll just get 2nd hand CDJ1000MK3 ..
i see that serato is most likely for turntables use ...
*
Eh? But can use time coded CD for CDJ also what.
Then can just control from mixer and laptop...

Do you guys have any idea how to identify if a Technics RPDH-1200 is original from just looking at the box itself?

both ways goes i guess.. you can learn a lot in any method as long as you try and master the things you do. for DJ competitions then maybe you should concentrate more on CDJ/ttables rather than controller. Haven't heard yet any competitions for controllerist so far (but maybe I'm wrong). as for performing, both are good in their respective ways.. just my 2 cents..

Hmm does the DDJ-S1 still classifies as a controller?
The DDJ-S1 setup seems to simulate a mixer+cdj environment no?
