lol you look down on BSN then. But then better don't apply BSN.... later paying got problem. One number need 1 hour to settle

The more important element when using credit card is customer service. (At least this is my personal opinion/preference) You will need their help if something happens e.g lost credit card, overseas transactions, fraud, transactions dispute, etc. That's why I'm not too crazy about cards from e.g AEON just because you will get more Jusco points. The extras are nothing compared to the hassle should you encounter problems with your cc account.

To give the benefit of the doubt ... there's not many BSN cc holders out there. Same goes for Bank Rakyat as well ... I'm not crazy about this card as well.

Paying credit card can be done via IBG ... no need queue. Pay the IBG fee is better than waiting for 1 hour to settle.

Omg ... I didn't submit before the public bank new credit card that gave 15 % cash back. Now they sms me and ask me to collect my new card .. can I don't collect the card guy ? I cannot afford to pay that RM50 and I think someone use my info .. sad.gif

If you are certain your info has been misused by the bank, do report it to the bank and BNM. Don't tolerate this as it undermines the security of your personal information which is supposed to be guaranteed by the banks/BNM. Normally done by those agents crazy to meet their quota or opportunists.

I had experienced this before and the bank caught their personnel who did this. I received a personal apology and the person was seriously reprimanded. Since then I noticed the bank had no more such nonsense coz their staff must have been severely warned or face immediate termination.

If BSN never link with other bank then it would be a disaster. IIRC they only launch their internet banking not long ago

Yes since it stated:

Charge your education, insurance, hospital bills or retail transactions to any one of your CIMB Bank or Direct Access credit cards.

I quoted that from the form.

You may give a call to the CS to double confirm.

My apology to you. Conversion from conventional CC to Islamic CC is allowed but not sure with the other way round.

Hi all, i would like to ask about the several Travel Protection Coverage for platinum card. (eg Citibank)

That means as a platinum card owner, i do not need to pay a single cent to qualify for the plan. Whenever say Baggage delay happened, i can just go ahead and claim the "reimbursement"?

thanks.

Don't get cheated by their famous slogan - World's local bank.

It seems like they're not that "local" as they claimed to be.

laugh.gif What do you mean anyway ? But indeed they are not big all around the world. They do however maintain pretty big presence in all the countries Malaysians frequent such as Hong Kong (obviously), UK (in England & Wales mainly), USA (New York State), France (inside Paris mainly), Canada etc. It is also some of the largest banks in Mexico, Brazil, Turkey and Argentina.

Maybank gives me Visa Petronas Platinum, no annual fee. I wonder how good this platinum card is or just merely a name tongue.gif

Time to cut my CIMB DA.

And oh, every now and then people would ask if local bank cc would be accepted worldwide. It sure is, I've used my DA in many countries with no problem, even in countries like Pakistan thumbup.gif
