Submitted the EON Bank Visa Signature application form on Monday at their branch, call their CS today and my application still not in the system yet.
Anyone know how long time their branch needed to submit an application to their card centre?

I think the 00 is my credit standing. 00 means that i have never missed a payment. As you can see, i have two credit cards with the first one marked with 00,29 while the second card is marked only with 00. The first card is marked with 29 because i got it by pledging one of my Time Deposit accounts to the card.
*
It's collateral type instead.
Credit standing should refer the month to month listing.
If it's show "0", then means you never miss payment.
If show "1" means one month default payment, "2" means 2 month default and so on.
If above "3", then your credit application will be rejected by most credit issuers.

Kindly refer the collateral type:
Collateral Type Refers to type of collateral pledged for the credit facility
00 = Clean
10 = Properties
21 = Quoted shares
22 = Unquoted shares
23 = Unit trusts
29 = Other financial assets
30 = Motor vehicles (registered with JPJ)
40 = Other vehicles/carriers
50 = Concessions and other contractual rights
60 = Plant and machinery
70 = Financial guarantee
80 = Negative pledge
81 = Supportive letters
90 = Other assets
99 = Secured – details unknown

So i suppose 00 means the card is not tied to anything ?
*
Yup brother,
00 means credit issuer granted you the credit facilities and it is under unsecured credit/loan.
29 means you placed a fixed deposit to secured the credit facilities,mostly from credit cards pledged by FD.

I think 1 day I must go to BNM to get my CCRIS. tongue.gif
*
Yes brother,
U should practice to check your CCRIS report, the best is once a year.
To avoid any personal fraudulent usage of your personal information and identity, especially fraud CC application.
It is FOC at any BNM branch and only can be obtain every 3 months once.

WHAT ? Stamping fee ? HSBC did not charge me any fee at all when i applied for their credit card by pledging my Time Deposit to it. I believe Public Bank is not going to charge you anything too. Public Bank is the only bank that state publicly in their website that you can apply for secured credit card.
*
Wow!!! RM50 for applying a CC?
This is really ridiculous and nonsense charge.
Why not you go to PBB? If I am not mistaken the stamp duty just like about RM10,not until RM50 that high.

I think that's very typical of Alliance Bank. When i closed my savings account a while ago, they insisted that there is a service charge of RM10 no matter how long i've been using the account despite the fact that in their website it is clearly written there is no charge if i close the savings account after 3 months from opening. I suspect the staff attending to him is just like many other Alliance Bank staffs that do not know their own product offerings well.
Does that mean Public Bank will ask you to pay for the stamp duty ? Because when i applied for a secured credit card from HSBC last year, i did not have to pay anything at all  tongue.gif
*
Yup, confirmed with my friend PBB charge RM10 for stamp duty coz he just applied few months ago.
Not so sure with HSBC, but probably I know that CIMB will not charge if u apply their CC secured by FD.

Invitation only
Annual income RM240K doh.gif

Better get Citi Premiermiles with ever green miles point.
*
It's launched at last since they plan 2 months ago, but application strictly by invitation only.
It's not open for public application just like the other premium card in the market such as Standard Chartered New Priority Banking VI,RHB VI, MBF WMC & CIMB Enrich WMC.

MBB recently launched their new World Mastercard and the annual fee is kinda high , RM 1000 ( without MAS Golden Lounge Access ) and RM 1500 ( unlimited MAS golden lounge Access ) . No waiver will be given at this moment , which they will charge the annual fee on next statement with G tax together.  shakehead.gif .
The requirement is same as CIMB World Mastercard which is RM 240k / Year to qualify for it.
Anyone applied for the card ?
*
Hi,
How u know about the annual fee? No info for this card in their website.
Requirement of annual income is RM240k correct but application by invitation only.
Don't think can direct apply for this card.

HSBC has just launched a new credit card today. It's called HSBC Advance VISA Platinum and is actually a complimentary card. HSBC Advance is a current account and replacement to HSBC PowerVantage. It is a lot like HSBC Premier in many ways, some of the benefits include the use of Global View and free Global Transfer between your local and overseas HSBC accounts (capped at US$10,000 for HSBC Advance and US$100k for HSBC Premier) which was previously available only to HSBC Premier customers. You need only an initial deposit of RM20,000 to open this account and the HSBC Advance VISA Platinum will be mailed to you in the next few weeks.

Hi,
No need income proof? No minimum income requirement?
Just need RM20k deposit.
It seems like a debit card more than a credit card.

Yeah ... are you sure you applied for RHB VISA Infinite? Last I know ... they only issue this card to PB customers.
RHB PB customers RM200K deposit only qualifies for complimentary Gold card and Platinum need RM500K deposit. Infinite ... well definitely need a loot of moolah and that why their CL starts @ RM200K.

You apply for RHB cc in Malaysia or in Singapore? (Guys ... Singapore got RHB bank also)
*
They did not update their info in their website(The CL does not start with minimum RM200k)
RHB will issue Visa Infinite to their current CC holders which their CL are RM100k and above.
And their PB customers can request for this Visa Infinite too but subject to approval.

I just called up RHB Visa Infinite Priority Hotline, the CS told me the RHB Visa Infinite Card is not open for public. Only open for invitation for those who have large deposit in Premier Banking. They don't even invite existing RHB Visa Platinum to upgrade. Only reserved for Premier Banking.  hmm.gif
*
The info given by their CS not really accurate.
I know a few person with existing RHB platinum CC being invited for this RHB VI.
They are not RHB PB customer but their existing RHB platinum CC credit limit are 6 figure above.
Really no idea how RHB issue this card???

Anyone getting information another premium Visa credit card going to launch soon?
Looks like Visa platinum going to replace by Visa Infinite and Visa Signature while Mastercard platinum going to replace by World Mastercard.
Soon or later entry level for credit cards will start from platinum series.

I think they changed it last year. This is what i saw in the Standard Chartered Priority Banking brochure.

It's only applicable to SCB Priority Banking Visa Infinite.
Other SCB CC's choice points only valid for 3 years.

Just saw the real actual card of Standard Chartered Priority Banking Visa Infinite.
The card colour and design is cool, for me it is a best design card for the premium card range.

The RHB Bank VISA Infinite is still very much alive.

Yes, RHB Visa Infinite still remain active.
If you have a current RHB CC credit limit over 100k, you can request for it.
Chance to get approve might be high.
