I've never tried myself. Anyway, there is a master policy in their website. Not sure if RHB has it in their website but HSBC does have it on theirs. Basically it is hard for us to qualify for the claim. The HSBC credit card travel insurance is insured by HSBC Takaful (their wholly-owned subsidiary). You can refer to the table below for their T&C. It shouldn't be far off from the RHB one.

By the way, in order to be eligible for the luggage delay claim, only if the incident took place overseas is covered. If it happened within Malaysia, then sorry to tell you that you won't be able to claim anything.

How come the last time I called HSBC, they said none of their credit card comes with free travel insurance?

Clearly you've been misinformed. Anyway, all their credit cards do come with complimentary travel insurance. When you make the claim, you just need to call HSBC up. The insurance policy is underwritten by HSBC Amanah.

In that case, HSBC customer service must be truly lousy because I called up a month ago to specifically ask that question: Does their credit card comes with travel insurance. The answer is "no" for their gold, Platinum and premier CC. Shocking!

HSBC will give you complimentary travel insurance only if you charge your air ticket to your HSBC cc.

Noob ? You must be kidding us if you are applying for the CIMB VI and WMC.
Duration of application approval depends on your luck and you'll know whether you are successful within 1 week. You need to call bank to check on this but please don't do it earlier than 1 week after you submit to the bank. (Not agent ah ... agent then plus 1 week more) Card will be sent to your mailing address (whatever it is that you wrote on yr application form) ... what are you thinking ? You should have used an address which you want to receive the card. Good luck!

I never hold any credit card before. The only card i used to have is my company corporate card. But since I realized that I can take opportunity from my business traveling and collect the reward point for myself, that why now i am applying one. I use my hometown address as I always traveling. Last week my mom decided to stay with my sister in ipoh, so i am afraid that nobody will received the card when they deliver. I apply the card last Thursday, is it possible to ring them and ask to change the address?
