That is the problem. They think they are above the law. The other day I stopped at a red light and a traffic cop on his motorbike came by and saw that there was no car he just carry on even though the light is red.

That is why you see a lot of motobikes don't care about traffic lights as they learn from the best.

Just ignore him.

I know it is generalisation but I believe this is the attitude of most of them. The point I am trying to make is that our Police personnel should be more professional. The present IGP does not help by saying that he wants to pull his men of the street because of criticism.

Look at the big picture why the public has a bad perception of them. In most countries there would be a guideline on when deadly force can be used but sad to say here we see so many cases of robbers being shot dead. Why can't they shoot the legs or hands to disarm the robber. Must you be the judge and executor?

That is the reason why it should be the case that the police themselves are not above the law.
