Dont know whether should I post a question here or is there another thread to ask on buying a second hand Bimmer.

I'm thinking of getting a 2006 325 from a friend of mine. (he is letting it go so he can get the F-10). Milage is very good as only 70,000 km done.

Just worried on maintainence as I've heard the 3 series tends to breakdown after 5 years. Any advice from you guys would be appreciated.

FYI, buying it for the engine- always wanted to drive a in line 6 pot.
