Too bad my cooling fan failure last few days.

Waiting for the resistors, relay and fan control box to arrive... Spare parts are hard to source thou..

People tends to say conti spare parts expensive, not really.. It depends on where they bought from.

I've been quote for RM3.5k for a whole cooling fan assembly, while i bought from UK cost only RM800 + RM100 shipping fees, everything genuine.

So what says you?

Guys thinking of making a Track Car, Which is better suited for track use

BMW e30 325i

or

Bmw e36 325i

I personally prefer the e30 due to its touring car legend image

But in terms which would be easier to tune and convert into a race/track car?

cheapest Elise i saw was 110k

and im afraid im too big to fit comfortably in a elise , 191cm

the engine in the 335i in its initial stage had lots of problems with the high pressure fuel pump, many cars equipped with the 3litre turbo had to be recalled but i'm sure BMW has fixed all of em now la... hopefully

yeah 330i and 530i's are pretty rare, guess most malaysians don't like to pay 2.3k for their roadtax

and no la not swapping it. my e60 mileage is all highway miles

don't get me wrong Turbo's are great but i don't know i just like the feel of NA. The smoothness etc

the standard 3 litre engine can be tuned to make 280+ or in some cases even more with just a few mods

the 335i can easily do 380hp if im not mistaken just by upping the boost

the n53 in the 530i produced 272hp stock   just imagine when tuned
