what's the cheapest item/way to increase e90 320i performance ? i only know replace aftermarket drop in filter ie K&N filter and change spark plug (iridium?). i know not much performance will gain from that , but a lil bit also ok , coz 320i power for daily use in a congested city really sufficient enough , I just wanna add a little hp to help from pickup (low end rpm 1000 - 3000)
maybe i will consider to change performance exhaust ie Hamann Exhaust if the price is right any other suggestions will be much appreciated This post has been edited by AiRBooM: Mar 2 2011, 11:28 PM |

QUOTE(bukanmain @ Mar 3 2011, 01:43 AM) remapping means no more warranty..If youre passed the period or bought grey market by all means go ahead! Sunway area got alot of tuners U sure will void warranty? Many BMW club members already did , someOf them just got car not long ago only... QUOTE(clawhammer @ Mar 3 2011, 01:17 PM) I'm not sure about sunway but the guys in BMW forums contacts a tuner from Singapore to get it done for them. Price is around rm2-3k depending on engine the singapore tuner went back already , that's y I seeking for any expert shop that can do the job.Bro , if budget allow me to get 325 of course I will go for it , hehe plus I don't want to get too old car just because of 6 pots. QUOTE(omichael @ Apr 23 2011, 02:48 AM) Hi Guys, if your budget only 130k i suggest best to avoid secondhand BMW , especially pre-facelift 320i , i heard a lot problem from the owners , not to mention the cost of maintenance and wear and tear parts are killing you.Hope someone can spare a few moments to offer their expert advice I'm planning to get a new sedan in the coming months (don't really care about segment), and my budget is RM130k. Am strongly considering a second-hand BMW, because for my budget it's either that or something with no personality like a Honda Civic. But I'm not a car enthusiast, so I don't know much about specs. I just want a reasonably powerful, reliable and if possible stylish ride. Most importantly I don't want to spend TOO much time or money maintaining and repairing the car. Is a second-hand BMW the right choice for someone like me? And if so, can anyone recommend any particular model? Based on aesthetics alone I'm really liking the 2006 320i. Would really appreciate hearing your thoughts, thanks a lot |

QUOTE(kelvinlym @ May 25 2011, 04:17 AM) Ouch. Hope you get totally new doors. Also, the fixing of the door is quite important otherwise it will be misaligned with uneven gaps. I think it's easier that they get new panels for the left side. I'm not sure about the bodyshop skills in Msia. I had damage before on back right wheel panel area and door, and they got me a new door (500+ Euros) and some body work (fancy laser alignment stuff) and a repaint. Total cost 2000+ euros but claimed insurance and paid 300. i believe europe countries sure will changed a new door for your car , but i afraid malaysia one will use the "cheaper"The DTC and DSC have their physical limitations. When there is no grip, no amount of electronics can help. Like how when drifting if your car reaches a certain critical angle, there is no amount of counter steer that can bring the car back. But glad you're safe. way to repair it... QUOTE(bukanmain @ May 25 2011, 06:07 AM) kayjhe sometimes we dont have "luck" .I do heard complains on 320i PFL myself at SC yeah bro.... NCD gone , of course i do hope the insurance will bare all the costs , but i heard from autobavaria officer , my all 4 new tyres might can't claim full amount , some insurance only allow claim 80% depends on condition , i just changed my tyres 2 weeks ago only.... AIrboom I hope you stay strong..claiming on self insurance? NCD gone right if this case? my two rims and two tyres of left passenger side were totally broken & cracked... |

QUOTE(bukanmain @ May 25 2011, 10:50 PM) have you try to talk to the adjuster about the tires? If you buy insurance from AB you can try push your SA last time you bought with. If NCD still 25% can still bite the bullet after all its gonna be very expensive anyways..cheaper to pay 0% NCD my insurance not buy from AB one... QUOTE(Damonzero @ Jun 7 2011, 11:31 AM) now pending insurance approval ... appreciated your concern. QUOTE(kahjye @ Jun 8 2011, 04:10 PM) last i checked with sunway racing fit , rm900 for E90 white color LED , i know the sale person , not sure u can get this price or not... brand is PIAA if i remember correctly. |
