remapping means no more warranty..If youre passed the period or bought grey market by all means go ahead! Sunway area got alot of tuners

I'm not sure about sunway but the guys in BMW forums contacts a tuner from Singapore to get it done for them. Price is around rm2-3k depending on engine btw, why didn't you opt for 325 last time?

i dont like golf gti. duno y ppl keep recommend it. im calculating how much i can fork out. most probably aimin 320d e90 second hand but seems like i cant even find one.

Hope someone can spare a few moments to offer their expert advice

I'm planning to get a new sedan in the coming months (don't really care about segment), and my budget is RM130k.

Am strongly considering a second-hand BMW, because for my budget it's either that or something with no personality like a Honda Civic.

But I'm not a car enthusiast, so I don't know much about specs. I just want a reasonably powerful, reliable and if possible stylish ride.

Most importantly I don't want to spend TOO much time or money maintaining and repairing the car.

Is a second-hand BMW the right choice for someone like me?

And if so, can anyone recommend any particular model? Based on aesthetics alone I'm really liking the 2006 320i.

Ouch...that's a lot of damage done onto your car. What happened? Didn't the traction control help if your car started to skid?

Ouch.  Hope you get totally new doors.  Also, the fixing of the door is quite important otherwise it will be misaligned with uneven gaps.  I think it's easier that they get new panels for the left side.  I'm not sure about the bodyshop skills in Msia.  I had damage before on back right wheel panel area and door, and they got me a new door (500+ Euros) and some body work (fancy laser alignment stuff) and a repaint.  Total cost 2000+ euros but claimed insurance and paid 300.

The DTC and DSC have their physical limitations.  When there is no grip, no amount of electronics can help.  Like how when drifting if your car reaches a certain critical angle, there is no amount of counter steer that can bring the car back.

have you try to talk to the adjuster about the tires? If you buy insurance from AB you can try push your SA last time you bought with. If NCD still 25% can still bite the bullet after all its gonna be very expensive anyways..cheaper to pay 0% NCD

LOL, how did you know I had an Accord before this? Just a normal E60 530i M-Sport LCI with 19" wheels, nothing much other than that. I want to change the marker to white color, any recommendations?
