Well it also depends on where you normally commute to. But yeah in general malaysia is hell for owners with 19inch and above rims  sweat.gif
I am running 20inch rims and so far, i have not encountered any issue apart from once curbing them whistling.gif
thanks bro laugh.gif

If comfort is your priority, go for stock suspension (not even the M-Sport ones) and make sure you get it from a BMW stockist (not the dealer). Its cheaper that way smile.gif

Thanks bro, any shop to recommend and estimated damage for both front and rear will be?

You can't service original BMW shock absorbers according to the ZF. They recommend replacing them. Usually for coilovers you can service them, replace the gas/oil. But for the stock BMW ones, best to swap them.

Hi Mavik its serviceable according to a seller here at lowyat.net who specialized in servicing abs, but it takes 1 week to complete.

I've had the E39,same engine as the E46. Enjoyed every moment of the 8years I had it. Bought it with 90K on the clock. Be prepared to spend roughly 20k on spare parts. The parts I changed were:
Ignition coils
Radiator
Radiator fan clutch
lower and upper suspension arms
ABS sensors
Door lock mechanisms
Shock absorbers
Brake discs
Steering rack

How much u spent for:-

lower and upper suspension arms

That's a great place to buy parts smile.gif I always buy from them too but some parts are over priced as well. Anyway, they are the best currently as the others are even more expensive smile.gif

I wonder is there any other BMW parts importer other than AB, SG etc

I think you meant BA (rather than AB)? biggrin.gif From what I know, there are 3 of them but Bavarian Auto is the most reasonable in terms of pricing.

I want an SUV that is not too big. X5 too big,X3 not bad, X1 perfect size for me. Anyone can't tell why 2nd hand price of X1 is so bad, 100K drop in just 2 years! Price drop is great news for me,but worry if there's something seriously wrong! rclxub.gif

100k 2 yrs for conti car is pretty norm. Always go to a reputable BMW workshop to check it out. It will saves u alot of money. Checkup usually dont cost more than RM100.

Hi guys, what do you guys think about the e60 bmw m5? would it be valuable it being the last v10? collectors value? or is there an excess of e60 m5's going for sale in the malaysian market now?
*
E60 is a model that i would say quite controversial in terms of looks, some 5series hardcore fans do not like the E60 design, so as for the collectors value question, its very subjective unlike the predecessor will definitely a classic.

That being said, i still love my e60 althou it does gimme problems from time to time. biggrin.gif
