exterior design for M3 and 3 series not same? most of the time i cant differentiate the difference between M3/M5 with 3 series and 5 series. In term of exterior design. Anyone own a F10 here?

there are some differences, like for e60 5 series and m5 e60, m5 e60 has 4 exhausts instead of 2, m5 badge below the signal, 19" rims, bigger brakes, different engine sound etc but normal 5 series can convert bodykit to m5 (only way to really tell is looking at roadtax, or you could listen to how it sounds)

almost the same for m3, but the e90 sedan front is not similar to m3 e90/e92 sedan/coupe

difference between standard 5 series and the m5 u can tell mostly by the engine sound,interior and road tax.


m3 e92/e90 also same concept of the unique v8 sound

Anyone Own E46 328i ?I am looking at e46 actually.318i is ok for me as i dont really speed.So,Speed or not doesnt matter to me.I heard 328 is very expensive to maintain ?But the 328 price is very cheap.Just got poison of 530 performance,Makes me think about 328

if dun mind power and speed...get the 318i pre facelift engine is 1.9..cheaper roadtax...good FC...not as good as 2.0 from faceliftedthough...4 speed auto with semi auto..less things to go wrong

2.0 and 2.5 facelifted got alot gearbox problem....2.8..not sure..but i know 330 engine is the most reliable 1...

im using pre facelift 1.9.....so far..major fixed was my long shaft KO recently....milage was above 250k...so.reasonable la...

hi guys, always been a big fan of the E46 since i was a teen. been working for few years now and saved enough cash to own one. am looking at the 1.9 318i which are currently selling for around RM62-75k for year 2000 to 2004.

this will be my first bimmer and got plenty of experience with japanese rides but not continentals. none of my friends own one currently hence would need advice on what to check and so forth. any common issues with the 318i?

it's almost a 10 years old car. would it be wise to get one? or should i look for the 2.0 facelifted version? budget is only limited to 80k.

Loosely translates to "Bavarian Engine Industries". Werk also can mean factory.

the facelift 2002 318 2.0 is out of your budget?
of course prices of 318 and 328 will be similar, as many buyers are afraid of roadtax etc

i seen e46 318 1999 only at rm55-59k now.. so cheap
also the 1.9L only sold in 1999-2000. after 2001 the engine is replace by a 2.0L.
but buying a used bmw costing rm79k with rm80k budget is not advisable
