i don't quite get your point though
i'm only talking about the engines sold by bmw malaysia here

BMW 530i: Straight-six petrol engine with second-generation High Precision Direct Injection, 2,996cc, max output 272 hp (+14hp), max torque 320 Nm (+20Nm), acceleration 0–62mph 6.3secs (-0.2secs), top speed 155 mph (limited electronically), average fuel consumption 36.7 mpg (-14.3 per cent) (automatic transmission 37.7 mpg (-24 per cent)).

272-14=258HP. i really remember early batch of N52B30 getting only 258PS, same as the 330i E90.

sorry if i did not get your point or anything
btw the supercharger is very nice.

wonder how's the v8 in 545i though drool.gif

lol i did kl-jb 1hour 30mins and i can still turn around to talk with my friend..thats how comfortable and speed is for bmw

price should be 150-200k F10 raising up some problem theres a weird sound on the right front side..so e60 will still be the lead for now..because german engineer said the sound comes with the car :s which made every f10 owner screaming on top of their tongue..
*
QUOTE(bukanmain @ Apr 29 2011, 12:56 PM)
no skills needed bro..you wont feel a thing even we were surprise cz it was my 1st time to jb..they said 2hours 30mins the best time yet..

nope sayang lah F10..if you read in BMW FB also got F10 owner complaining..

why dont you call up Ingress or AB for pre own E60 the price should be okay and condition tip top
*
so you drove less than 190km/h but managed to did 1hr30min? somewhat sceptical

what car? e60 525i?

yesterday visited bmw dealership

checked out many nice used premium selection cars

750Li e66, z4 35is, 135i...

that salesman is very kind, poison me to get the 135i 2010 model for rm350k(can't afford lol), he said can test drive

and then also i revved a 1 month old m3 e92's engine till 4k rpm in the basement, so damn loud lol, of course don't want to rev till 8k redline cause of cold engine and it's indoors

I know how it feels sad.gif  Penang's roads are terrible sad.gif

anyway guys i'm planning on selling my e60 530i

For those who are interested you may pm me blush.gif

some info  BMW E60 530i UK Imported with 210,000 mileage.

Car is mainly used for long distance trips etc PG-KL-Melaka-Johor  hence the pretty high mileage  blush.gif
*
what year is it? that's important to know.
is the speedo dial in mph and kph? means the mileage is 210k km? although i doubt it will be 210k miles tongue.gif

QUOTE(Johan-N @ Sep 10 2011, 07:52 PM)
E63 630i with m54 or magnesium?

must be a pleasure to drive the e63.

People already consider my 530i fast, wonder what they'll think about the 630i biggrin.gif
*
630i e63 all same engine with 530i after 2006, they don't use the M54B30 3.0 on 2003-2005 530i e60

Wow... looking at your list it's like BMW is really so unreliable... I'm still in doubt to get one E90 ...
*
go to bmwmalaysia forum and do research there, see how the owners replace what item at what shop, at what price, also when to change etc

usually higher ends like 7 series requires more maintenance since it has more gadgets

you need patience, time and money to keep this kind of cars, but when it runs well, the feeling you get is priceless

335i now your talking icon_idea.gif

Performance on that is astonishing only prob is its a turbo cry.gif

Oh well BMW wants to go green so their using turbo's on their straight six's nowadays cool2.gif
*
never heard much prob with the turbo in 335i. or maybe you knew more, i'm not sure.

I've decided to go for E90. can get 330 with my budget? haha tongue.gif
*
it's very rare to see a 330i e90 in malaysia. you either go 325i, or if you have more budget, you skip to 335i. same roadtax 330i, but way faster. higher price of course. sedan version of 335i is even rarer.

Looking for one  in white, budget below rm170k blush.gif

if anyone of you are selling or know someone please inform me laugh.gif

are you swapping it with your e60? you mileage is quite high at 200k, but it's way better than those conmen in the 2nd hand dealers tweaking the mileage laugh.gif

Z4? cool. maybe can get a 2005-2006. which engine? my uncle just got one. previous model z4. he also has e90 325i, e90 320i LCi, mk5gti, mini cooper S. sweat.gif

this one who driving? sit beside also good enough.....visiting germany summore. rm10-20k out easily

just test driven a 330Ci earlier today. will be submitting my docs for loan approval coming Monday. fingers-crossed this gonna be my first German marque. smile.gif it was love at first sight when i saw the ad while hunting for a second car. was torn between the pre-2005 Volvo S60, C200K and the 325i earlier. but it was a clear decision once i feel the car after the teat drive. awesome piece of German engineering even for a 10 year old car.
*
how do you compare 330ci with golf gti? u own a gti as well? ppl say gti is faster in acceleration but top speed wise 330 on paper is considerably higher

QUOTE(Johan-N @ Mar 25 2012, 05:31 PM)
i'm not gonna mod my car to look like a m5 la and im not putting the side ducts and the m5 badge. I'm just gonna leave my 530i badge.

Its just gonna be a 530i with quad exhausts  laugh.gif

*
sorry forgot yours is 525i or 530i?

recently test drove my uncles 2006 525i, with 19", bodykit, quad exhausts etc.. too bumpy.. the car is spacious though. but didn't drive it fast so cant comment much

QUOTE(cybermaster98 @ Mar 25 2012, 10:34 PM)
Was kinda disappointed with the latest 3 Series. Looks more like facelift rather than a new generation model. Yes has a new gb and slightly more rear legroom but both front and rear seats still cramped. Doesnt really have a wow factor maybe cuz its soo similar to the current 3 series.
*
i had a look at the F30 too. i am disappointed of the interior. quite dull. the exterior is very nice in my opinion.

perhaps during the innovation day higher revving petrols are more fun and powerful
320d is superb for daily drive for its effortless torque, superb economy and range.

Ahh.. E65 7 series with V8.. drool! comfort, toys, presence of it.their price are also tempting..
but maintenance especially for early 2002-2003 model must be a nightmare, more so for a V8.

QUOTE(leechers @ Apr 24 2012, 11:33 PM)
Hi. I am interested with the brand new bmw. But not the f30, but the latest generation before f30. Is it still on sale? I heard got lots of discount?. Interested to get one but stuck with several option and need to really look at the budget. Thinking about mazda 3 but try to think about this particular brand new bmw 320i e90.

What is the cost of regular maintenance if i send to dealer for service? If i bought recond/grey importer, is it wise for me to service in auto bavaria?

Currently driving a vios, just thinking to get a better car and vios will be my second car.
*
if possible get the e90 320d instead.. what do you think of the D? E90 models surely cheaper so that they can clear the stock
