I am getting my G20 330i Pre-reg delivered this week from Sime Darby Auto Bavaria. What should I be looking into before I sign off the documents?

So any problem you found on this new moDel?
Other old models have got their own known problem, share your driving feedback on G20 : )

Well since Ive only had it for about 2 weeks now, i would say there are no problems with the car at all. it has done its mileage at 8,000 km so if there were any "initial quality" issues, it should have reared its ugly head by now

I enjoy the fact that it is using B48 which first came into production in 2014. By now most bugs would have been cleared up (like the water pump issues found in the previous iterations of the engine). If there are any issues, it should be coming from the chassis; if I can say something about it, it is a huge car. Not something I would be comfortable letting my wife drive since she is more used to driving smaller hatchbacks. The M-sport suspension is also a little too stiff for most people; I have noticed uneven or bumpy roads that were not prevalent when I was driving my old cars

But these are all design and choices that I have made; for example if I wanted something more comfortable, the 320i G20 has comfortable suspension settings, and if I wanted a smaller car I shouldn't have gone for G20

tl;dr: No problems so far. I am enjoying the shat out of it

U should try how comfortable is 320 I haven tried myself. 330 is really stiff but most reviewer said 320 suspension got more balanced if u r looking for a family car with sports characteristics whereas 330 is just purer sense of drivers car. Overall g20 will be stiffer than f30 so I guess regardless it will not be as comfy as f30

I will go to BMW AB in Ara tomorrow for their events and try their 320i. I wish it sucked so I wouldn't get buyer's remorse hahaha

I am lucky... errrr.. in a way that I have only 1 family member that is my wife, so i do not need to be too concerned about all the passengers' comfort

I need to install dashcam for my car. This is the promotional price, RM2,370 all-in. No choice unless I want to break my warranty by accessing the fusebox. This price is OK right? Any comments? Should I still do "outside"?

Too expensive and for poor performance and results.. Get third-party dashcam. Use the ciggie port or if fuse box, learn how to disconnect each time before sending it in for any service or warranty claims.. I recommend Viofo or Thinkware.... You can also learn to rig the car yourself or if die2 you want it done by fancy professionals? Seek out Sicurez Automotive.. Else plenty cheaper accessories shops can install too. IMO, Viofo is excellent enough.

the cost is almost the same as mine. So far I am quite satisfied, front + back camera. Can view footage from app that is recorded during parking/driving. Able to download to your phone app. Quality of the footage is ok, acceptable.

2 things to note :
1. view of angle is not so wide, probably 120 degree or 140 max.
2. G-sensor thing is kind of annoying sometimes, just went through a bump and it will make noise alerting you as if accident detected.
