My F22 arrives coming Monday. I'll post a review if I don't crash it on the first day, touch wood. Cost me 3.5 grand extra to have the LSD fitted but being a regular LSD driver I figure it makes a huge difference.

What is the purpose of the car first? If it is a car to get me from Point A to B in comfort and economical, I will choose the 520d

All the new models come in auto here in Malaysia. Some rare cases where recon dealers bring them in but it also depends on the models. For example the BMW 1M came in manual and the ones sold here by the recon dealers were in Manual.

I just got back from site after 3 weeks and went for a drive before washing it down.

Gave it a solid drive to get the oil heated up and flowing. I am still waiting for the carbon pieces to arrive from my dealer (which is incidentally owned by Sime Darby Berhad tongue.gif)

It's a nice car, the only flaw being the very weird feeling steering. It takes getting used to, even if I have driven EPS cars before.

I hopped in my Evo X right after I drove the M235 and found the traditional power steering to be much more natural.

Depends on what the dealers brings in. The nearly all BMW coupes here have manual as an NCO (No Cost Option). But of course it is going the way of the dinosaur, so I grabbed one when I could.

Had a long drive out today, the car is good, but only thing that is shitty is the crappy BMW "Active Sound" which I have no idea on how to disable without a BMW diagnostic tool.

Also praying the geniuses at Akrapovic come up with a titanium exhaust for this puppy. Couple that with a CF driveshaft and an increase to 400 HP ATW and it should drive even more awesome than it does now.

400ps on the wheel shouldn't be that tough to achieve. I have seen several 335i and 1M managing around 380ps on wheel average at our local dyno shop.

Still trying to find a near mint second hand 1M in Valencia Orange to add to my garage but will see how this year goes. Although after driving the both the M3 and M4 at BMW's trackdays for a good 40 laps each, I feel the M4 might be a better shoe-in if I can cobble together 25 percent of the purchase price upfront next year.

But then again the stupidity of owning 3 fast cars and a Ducati only use them for 1 week at a time is something to consider. I love buying stuff as much as the next guy, but there's a point you reach where it's pretty much just a wank fest laugh.gif

You can easily bring it to a detailing center to do it. If you are based in Klang Valley, search on Facebook for this guy (Albert) called Pro Detailers. See his Facebook feed on how he has cleaned up recently the engine bay of the RS5.

for N54 engine? Lurking in some bimmer forums and learnt that n54 engine big issue is HPFP problem. Is there anything that I should look for?
Btw, this is going to be my first time experience with BMW though.
