Thanks for the feedback, also would like to know, do Mini Cooper S need to use specific Engine oil?
Currently i have a lot of Caviaga's Full Synthetic 5w/50 use for my Silvia, also can use?

I live at Subang Jaya, where is the reliable and trustworthy workshop around?

Thank You.  smile.gif

You just have to make sure the viscosity is right for the engine and the brand is up to you. There are many BMW specialist workshops around KL and you can find more details in BMW Club Malaysia forums smile.gif

just test driven a 330Ci earlier today. will be submitting my docs for loan approval coming Monday. fingers-crossed this gonna be my first German marque. smile.gif it was love at first sight when i saw the ad while hunting for a second car. was torn between the pre-2005 Volvo S60, C200K and the 325i earlier. but it was a clear decision once i feel the car after the teat drive. awesome piece of German engineering even for a 10 year old car.

Great choice, a e46 330ci. Even for its age, its still a pretty fast car.

assuming it has the m54b30 engine? brows.gif 235hp and 300nm of torque wub.gif

Yeap the M54B30. The current owner did added some variable piggyback though. IIRC, it's 230whp. sweat.gif

Perhaps maybe you should just sell off your e60 and buy a new F10? biggrin.gif

most people mod their e60 with m5 bodykit and quad exhaust laugh.gif

Make sure you have air ducts as well and M5 badge for complete look. Spray your wing mirrors black and korek your fog lamps then you can fool people haha.

But please don't rev your engine. Because in-line 6 is not the same as a mighty V10 icon_idea.gif

i'm not gonna mod my car to look like a m5 la and im not putting the side ducts and the m5 badge. I'm just gonna leave my 530i badge.

Its just gonna be a 530i with quad exhausts laugh.gif

I'm thinking of m5 front end cause i find it better looking than the m sport one with fogs.

of course not, my straight six doesn't sound anything like a v10 cry.gif but then again i see so many people get fooled by fake m5's doh.gif i can tell by the exhaust note its just a normal 520i doh.gif

Was kinda disappointed with the latest 3 Series. Looks more like facelift rather than a new generation model. Yes has a new gb and slightly more rear legroom but both front and rear seats still cramped. Doesnt really have a wow factor maybe cuz its soo similar to the current 3 series.

As an owner of the current E90 series, I would say that the key differences would be the engine, gearbox and the smaller stuff like the variable suspension tuning. Engine it makes a big difference because in terms of power, the new F30 328i offers a lot of power 245bhp at RM309k. Previously, a 325i M-sport already cost more than that and you get less power and pay a higher road tax. A lot of us current E90 series owners who went and test driven the F30, there is a heck of a difference in terms of driveability, power delivery and gear shifting.

EUR650 only.  It's worth it in my opinion.  I went to a M3 Drivers training before and it was damn fun.

how do you compare 330ci with golf gti? u own a gti as well? ppl say gti is faster in acceleration but top speed wise 330 on paper is considerably higher

You're the driver of course. That's why I think it's worth it. Other packages you only sit beside for 1 round could reach EUR200 easily. Furthermore, it will be with other cars around the circuit.

This one BMW rents the whole track and you get to drive for about 1 hr each. Insurance and fuel included. Don't even need to worry about wear and tear. Included is also catering for the day and tour of the M test facility at the Ring.

Next year I will plan for Audi R8 at Spa. However, Audi is very late at their schedule so very hard to get my planning on.

Well, if you can afford it, it's really an experience. I'll buy you a beer afterwards. smile.gif

I am sure they can do as well, give them a call first to confirm and ask them to quote the installation fee and also painting fee if you are going with them.

Hi there, I got a question here,
one of my family member had just placed order for the new 3 series, 320d and it's supposed to be CBU, but the sales person told us that the CBU car will be arriving around April or May. Why so long ?

because before that, we went to another BMW dealer and the salesman there said there's only one colour left and we didnt really like that colour so we didnt take it, but the sales person at that dealership said that if we took that one, we will be able to get that car by end of March or early April.

and I've once read at paultan, about this one person with almost same situation but with the 5 series F10

This is what the guy said:

QUOTE
I think BMW Malaysia has slapped me on my face showing little disregard for me and others who were waiting for cheaper CKD prices. If they had warned me about the close price difference, I would have made an effort to buy the CBU at RM$399,000. Also Sales had taken a lot of orders for CBU lying to customers there were ample supply of CBU cars. They assured there was a second batch of CBU coming in also. But now suddenly, they tell customers that our CBU orders would be converted to CKD orders.
What are your guys opinion ? Do you think this sales person ( the one who said car would arrive around may or april) trying to do the same thing like that ?
