From what i know you can save alot if go with the recond's but its all about luck, Premium Selections on the other hand offer a peace of mind on a heavy price tag. If its me i would gamble with the reconds.

Guys, i have budget about RM160k. Should i get E60 or E90? I have test drive both. Both also I like. What i prefer is a car that is as new as possible, considering my budget. Any idea?

It depends on you actually, The e90 is more sporty in my opinion while the e60 is more of a executive saloon.

Don't get me wrong both are brilliant driving machines but the e90 is just more fun if you fancy driving.

I don't think you can get new, recon perhaps?

Definitely not new. What i meant was the year made is as latest as possible. Gonna give them both a try again, to get the feel. I like 530d. Very torquey. Tried looking around for E90 diesel, but couldnt find any in Mudah. Dunno about other websites though.

Keen on diesel eh?

So your one of the few who actually are willing to pay for a 3000cc cars roadtax laugh.gif

why not opt for one like mine e60 530i? brows.gif It may not be as torquey as the 530d but it sure is a glorious feeling to hear the straight six singing its heart out laugh.gif

Or opt for a 330i wub.gif

Haha. I heard the fuel consumption on diesel engine is better than petrol engine. Since it's gonna be an everyday car, i think fuel consumption will play an important role in making the decision. Roadtax is not a problem if fuel saving can compensate for it.

Hence, for 3000cc engine, i better opt for diesel engine. I could've been misled with regard to fuel consumption btw diesel and petrol engine. What say you?

Diesel obviously has better fuel consumption. Well if you really want good fuel economy and don't mind having not to say a slightly dulled drive the diesel is good

but if you once a while wanna enjoy a bit of fun the petrol is obviously the better choice

Well if you don't care much about performance and just want economy the diesel is perfect

For me, i'm a fan of BMW's legendary straight-six naturally aspirated engines so obviously i'm biased towards the petrols =p

So which are u interested in the e90 or e60 diesel?

When you mentioned about performance (i.e slightly dulled drive), what actually are you refering to? I tried both 530i and 530d, 530d feels more torquey. Sorry caused i dont have much technical knowledge on cars.

Still havent decided which model to choose. Hehe. I like big car, but i also like agile car like E90. At the end maybe i'm just gonna choose whichever that gives me the 'orgasm'. Haha. tongue.gif

I guess your not really a fan of high revving straight-six's are u? biggrin.gif

anyway what i mean is overall the petrol car is more fun for most people

Oh believe me when i tell you the e60 may be big but it handles the best in its class

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GwT79fmwOjY

Go watch the video not even the more powerful honda legend has no chance against the 5 series wub.gif

anyway whatever your decision Diesel or Petrol, a bmw will always be a Ultimate Driving Machine thumbup.gif

Haha. What i realized is petrol engine can rev higher than their counterpart. I do love the sound of high rpm. But this time around, i probably dont care much anymore.

If i got enough money, i'll go for 335 instead. tongue.gif
