What USB port do you guys use?
I've been searching at Apple stores but they are only selling Apple branded hubs. Do you guys just get the Apple brand itself or a 3rd party brand? If so what is a famous one? I looked on Amazon and Anker is ok but they don't Ship to Malaysia unfortunately. I am using MBP 13 2017 with 2 ports. |

Machines is having a clearance for the older MacBook Air for RM3229, is it worth getting?
I'm thinking of doing some video editing, is the machine powerful enough to edit and process videos? |

So I'm gonna be upgrading to a MBP (2018) 13/i5/16/512 pretty soon. That means getting a USB-C hub because I don't own any adapters. So I wanna ask this community what are your choices for a well rounded USB-C hub. My requirements are a minimum of 2 USB-A and an HDMI port and should be a wire connect type and not an attach to the laptop type.
I've been keeping an eye on some Aukey hubs. But I have used one on a dell XPS before and I found out that if I connect all 4 USB-A ports on the hub one of them doesn't recognize. So probably doesn't have enough power going through each port. So I'm open to all suggestions. RM 300 should be the budget for me. |

I know is this a bit over your budget, but I'm thinking a Thunderbolt 3 mini dock could work well for you if all you need is a few extra USB ports and HDMI: I've been keeping an eye on some Aukey hubs. But I have used one on a dell XPS before and I found out that if I connect all 4 USB-A ports on the hub one of them doesn't recognize. So probably doesn't have enough power going through each port.
