Been on raw for at least 4 good months on my miniature bull terrier. Never been happier for the both of us. I have heard about worms/ parasites and bad bacteria more often than anything else. The chances to catch a worm is rather low. That is if  you are getting your meat, bone and organs are of human consumption grade.

If you have fear of your furry kid getting worms, get their stools tested every half a year or so. No point letting your furry kids suffers through unnecessary meds. 

I normally freeze his meals at least a week before feeding. It helps to kill most parasites if is is any. Wild caught meat like fish, i normally freeze longer. 2-3 weeks at least.
