QUOTE(adriankhoo153 @ Aug 9 2011, 04:06 PM) You may try Innova brand.. Very good dog food. thanks, Any idea on where to get it? what is the price range. Added on August 12, 2011, 12:01 amQUOTE(ninetofive @ Aug 9 2011, 06:46 PM) The brand you feed all also very low quality. Filled with grains, fillers, and quality of ingredients are also questionable. If your budget tight try something like proseries holistic or nutriedge. If you don't mind the price and would do anything for your dogs health then innova, go! natural, now! grain free, vets choice health extension, canine caviar are all quite good brands. thanks for the feedback, think gotta stretch my budget for my poor golden..i feed blackwood since her a puppy, no problem until a year back...look like blackwood quality is getting worst.... QUOTE(adriankhoo153 @ Aug 12 2011, 09:58 AM) Innova for 2.7KG cost around RM55-RM60. You may get it at Petshop but not hypermarket. Gotta do my shopping than, thks! Added on August 12, 2011, 7:43 pmQUOTE(byaku-chan @ Aug 12 2011, 06:15 PM) Best price I've found so far for Innova is Sea Park Pet Supplies in SS2. Since you have a golden buying the big pack would make most sense. Slightly under RM210 after discount IIRC (10% off if you ask). When my 2 boys (med size mutt of some sort of hound mix / labrador) went through 2 big bags of the chicken and turkey grain free variety they had good muscle tone and good poop, but I found my lab started getting tartar on the back of his teeth (his chompers were pristine for 2 years prior to this). Your mileage may vary You can also find Innova at most Petsmore and Pet Lovers Centre outlets if location convenience is a factor (personally I try to buy from pet stores that don't sell livestock for ethical reasons). Hi, Rm210 is for how many kg? This post has been edited by Apscen: Aug 12 2011, 07:43 PM

QUOTE(byaku-chan @ Aug 13 2011, 12:57 AM) I actually meant their EVO range sorry (Innova contains grain, EVO is grain-free, both made by Natura). 13kg bag for RM210-238 depending where you buy. If it's the Innova range should be cheaper due to lower meat content. I find with high meat/protein content food I feed significantly less, my 28-30kg lab eats half the amount my friend's similarly sized dog consumes on Pro Plan. No issues feeding high protein that some people get worried about without actually trying it on their (healthy) dogs or reading studies debunking the high protein = bad myth first, my 2 dogs on 30%+ protein diets have perfect blood work (again, your mileage may vary). If your dog has kidney issues then avoid high protein foods. went to my regular petshop, they didnt sell innova, at the end brought brit care, salmon n potatoes from chech republic...rm200 for 12kg, how was this? hope i didn't make a wrong choice....

QUOTE(Calvin871989 @ Aug 13 2011, 09:10 PM) you should've ask for evo not innova. dont think any malaysia pet shops bring in innova. im feeding both my beagle and german shepherd evo. i normally now buy the Turkey & Chicken Formula (big bites) 13KG bag every month for RM212. i started on evo since day one for my beagle and then for my german shepherd, and im really happy to say that this food is by far the best dog food out there in the market along with other 6 stars dog food. ------------------ @ byaku-chan whats the brand of vitamins you give your dog ? the vitamins im giving two both my pups is call nutri-plus multivitamin gel by Virbac. ( http://www.dooyoo.co.uk/pets-accessories/v...el/1434668/#rev ) i think this vitamin is fairly ok to me since it says that its good for young rapidly growing dogs and other purpose too. i now plan to change the vitamin to a diffrent brand and focus more on bones. any suggestions on what brand of vitamins to go for for strong bones ? thanks. good to know there is some good dog food around with reasonable price, will observe how is brit quality, if no good, will try out Evo or Orijen..
