I bought a xbox 360 elite and scared of having rrod

I saw in Youtube, people adding water coolers or big heatsinks inside xbox to have better cooling. Is there any place that I can have this kind of mods in KL?

u just bought it right?? so it must be jasper unit(check if u not sure)
even my falcon unit still strong without any cooler/extra fan..just put it at a place that have good ventilation..

Purchase Nyko Intercooler TS/ EX. They're installed at the back of the Xbox 360 and doesn't void the warranty

They're not cheap, I will only recommend it if they're free and do not try to use anything looks like a china quality or your console will fried before the 3RRoD comes to you

Yea, since they're either rare or non-existent here. The shipping charges are also very pricey. But I don't use it since it burns a hole in my wallet just for that thing.

The reason I asked one of my friend in his country he sent to computer shop and they install a big heatsink in it, now he is able to play 8 hours non-stop without problem.

Yeah mine is a Jasper unit. Usually how many ours you guys playing non stop? Seller said don't play more than 4 hours, but sometimes I'm loosing time

BTW, mine is already moded unit, so anyways it doesn't have a warranty.

dunno bout modded playtime should be..some ppl play 1-3 hours a day oso got rrod(not jasper) and some play 4-12 hours non stop a day never been hit by rrod yet(mine not jasper)..so i would say it depends on luck..

btw, i never heard a jasper rrod yet..

Most probably depends what you play, if you play a no graphic game like tetris non-stop 1 week shouldn't be problem I guess

I always played most of the latest and XBOX original games. sometimes 3days never off for the sake of the game saves and sometimes even 2 weeks for downloading stuff through my 512kbps line.

1st console 3RRoD within 8months of abuse. 2nd console claiemd from singapore yet to die after 2.5 years and warranty is now over for the console.

Oh, they're all falcons and the true nature of the 3RRoD is not related on what your run on it but rather where you run it.

so far my jasper play 5~6 hour without any fan or cooler...

no RROD yet..

anyway... if u elite model... just install game into you'r HDD first... that one can reduce your machine be Hot..
